We are Customers not Criminals. @Roxx

people spend it on their alts thinking its free when they say we can keep it.
its like the government gave you $10 per friend you have then you spend it on your friend and the next day your bank account gets -10 per friend.
now you are in debt.
so in the end you get penalized because you have more friends?
you wouldn’t be in debt if you know its not free.
and people who have no friends get 60 and you think that’s fair?
you must have fewer than 6 characters.
that’s why you can’t understand the impact of the decision they made.

why try to be smart when you are obviously not?
posting a math calculation here just makes you look even more stupid than you already are.

they’re negative because they spent them. if that player had 500 pheons, claimed pheons, lost pheons, they’d still have 500 pheons aka their starting point and lost nothing.

if someone claimed 120 pheons, lost 120 pheons, spent 120 pheons and ended up at 380 pheons after reductions, they still lost nothing since the same amount were added and removed

like l said, difficult math for the average american

Well most people just got 60 pheons. People with 6 + x amount of characters were given 60 pheons and loaned x * 10 amount of pheons a day before the tripod update.

The number of players who got screwed royally are extremely small but I suppose it’s easy to recover from it if you have 24 characters already.

you won 1 million from a lottery and u buy a lambo.
they even made and official post to say you can keep it.

next day they put a negative 1 million in your back statement and say you have to pay back.
how do you feel?
how is that fair?

tax refunds come out and you get refunded more than you were supposed to get. you spend it anyway. government says you have to pay back the excess. how do you feel?

Tbh I see the ones who complains about the negative pheons (in which you did took from every character in your roster) are the ones who spends little to no real money on this game. They are the reason behind the imbalance and unfairness. Those who did spend like myself, it is nothing to complain or worried about. Though it’s not a big issue they did resolved it with pheons compensations in which is equal to or more to many of the players.

You’re comparing millions of dollars to how many pheons you scooped out of all your characters. lmao

government says they lied on their tax refund too lmao

its not about the amount.
its all about how AGS treat their customers.

no this is your opinion on what he should be thinking, he got a legit mail he opened them logic would say he got them because they sent them, rest is your own interpretation

my math would still be right though? our scenarios are completely different as well. I would have gotten tricked into spending my 60 pheons because I thought I had been given them. if that’s all I had, and then they were taken away, even with the 30 compensation I got screwed out of 30 pheons because of a mistake that wasn’t my own. being negative pheons prevents you from buying stuff that costs them, compared to having a starting total of 500.

GDtv is using an analogy.

just see it as free meal, you got 10 free meal you go eat the meals that are out of your budget, then you cannot go to the grocery until your restaurant bill is paid because it was a mistake xD, thats the pheon and the trade restriction there, also you cannot go to the restaurant too until your bill is paid

no, it wouldn’t. you have 500 pheons, you spend 60 pheons, your new end point is 440 pheons or in the some peoples case -100 pheons. +10 -10 -10 is -10 and AGS didn’t cause that additional -10, you did.

+10 -10 x claimed is all AGS is responsible for. any further deductions were all you

Yea and it is one bad analogy. AGS, a trillion dollar company business. You think they care losing as a publisher to this game. They can drop it any day.

you got a free pizza sent to your home.
you call up to and say thank you for the free pizza.
they replied “ENJOY”, and “keep the pizza it’s totally free”.
you ate the pizza.
they charge your bank account.
now you have a negative balance.
for the next 3 days, you cannot buy anything else because of your negative balance.
so it’s our fault to eat the pizza even after double confirming that the pizza is free?

HOW IS THAT FUCKING FAIR?
how many examples do I have to do to make you guys understand what I’m trying to say?
do you guys even know the whole story before trying to make a statement?
if everyone still keeps quiet the next person that’s gonna be in trouble could probably be you.

yeah, you got pheons, you spent pheons, pheons got taken away, you’re acting like you gained nothing from pheons and the only solution to get out of your negative pheons is by spending money when you can convert 25k gold

only trouble that can happen to me is eating a false RMT ban when l sell something on the AH

You got free pheons, didn’t you think it was kinda fishy to begin with? Then you got a message from someone, a friend or a guild mates saying hey! we can claim it on all our characters in our rosters. Bam right then you already knew something was wrong but like everyone else I too took the initiative and claimed it on all my characters, spend a little after they said they weren’t going to take it away, but they did after the launch of reaper patch. Did I go negative? NO! I didn’t spend that much and I had enough pheons to spend! They even compensate back with pheons they took from players who had an advantage of 24 alts (240 pheons) vs you with 6 (60 pheons)!. You basically got the fairness and balance you all wanted!!! Blame the community for making a thread blackmailing and threaten AGS! for not doing this unfairness act. :tipping_hand_man: On the side note what can we do when they said they weren’t going to take it away, the most we can hope for and do is ask for compensation back for their failure, so far they are doing ok.

People here are just selfish. They will never seen the problem.

I think the point was to be fair everyone gets the same amount. It was a mistake people need to let it go.
