We lost 50% of our player base 1 month in

Seems like Elden Ring coming out would have something to do with this ya?

Yeah, just look at the # of people playing Elden Ring rn

It’s only been a month that’s not really that long man. Calm down everything will be ok. And if it’s not, oh well. We will all live to play another game another day.

Same, every time I have tried an MMO after a couple days, I am gone. Especially if I pick a class that I end up not liking, I think “OMG I do not want to do this all over again” but with LA its okay because once you get one char into T3. The gold comes pretty easy and you can level up an alt easy and if you like that alt more, just make that your main.

o.o ignore this post

Who cares? Less lag everyone.

Lost Ark lost half of population not because AGS didn’t listen feedback. It lost population because Lost Ark is genre that isn’t played by majority of mmo players.
MMOARPG are a genre of games played by a very low population compared with MMORPG, where you have a totally different gameplay and graphical experience. People came, tested and saw that ARPG are not their cup of tea.
Even with 650k players, Lost Ark is a huge competitor for most MMORPG’s.
Now when we compare Lost Ark with their direct competition, Path of Exile and Diablo 3, we realise what a success LA is:
Path of Exile had the highest peak in history (since launch) at 158k players. And that was in last month because they released a new expansion ( Siege of the Atlas). Their average daily number of players is between 15-20k players.
Diablo 3, althought they sold 12 mill copies due to hype and Blizzard’s reputation, their current daily active population is around 15k players.
The only games that surpasses LA population are FF14 and WoW.
Even at 100k players, LA will be successful game. So don’t worry so much and stop crying.

U are free to speak only if you take your pills bro

well said earlier that the play rate went down int it cuz half were bots ne way? i mean they got rid of a milll bots

Also, Elden ring

taking players from LA

example: in lost ark I can only do 3 days, in guild wars 2 I can do all the days I want available.

its understandable DS had a pretty nice player base i feel like so makes sense people would play that as well. reg competitive things
