yup since they announced maintenance in game and in forums before it happened.
Reset is in 17 hours, but weekly maintenance will likely start 14 hours from now. Even IF we get our tickets (unlikely) it is way waaaay too late. Getting them less than ~12 hours until servers go down, on the last day is a giant spit in the face. There are timezones around the world, and people have jobs and work during the day. At this point even if I get my re-entry ticket, I have no way to play before reset here in Australia (Already 3am here)
Not all of them were announced and on the forum for hours before happening. Many of them were unscheduled with only a short warning in-game. (15 minutes usually, but the Mari server and one of the SA servers had literally a 1 minute in-game warning)
Regardless of them being announced, not one place does it say we will be locked out of attempting Valtan even when we didn’t clear. It even says specifically in the details that the raid can be repeated as many times until cleared.

Yes it can if group decides to quit, but if you leave or get kicked out of game then it counts as done.
And most people complaining were kicked out of no fault of their own, or their internet dcing or game crashing etc. The servers either crashed or had unscheduled maintenance with no warning saying "Get out of any instance you are in or risk losing your entry.
Man this situation is depressing. Support is clueless and the re-entry ticket system is nontransparent.

Ya I’m def not getting one according to live chat support. Guess it was only some maintanences and not all. Now we know but this really caused so many headaches and so much finger pointing in my guild and on the forums. At least some got a late reentry but unless they change this policy or make it clear the ramifications of being in a raid before maintenance this will keep happening every week yo more unsuspecting players.
Really a failure on support staff and devs alike.
I hope to God I never have to come to this forum again and hope the same for everybody here.

@Roxx There’s really zero chances of us getting any kind of compensation after reset? we are hours away from it and most of us didn’t get a ticket yet… and even if we all got it now, some would still not be able to form a party to beat Valtan untill reset… this is really bad
Hope everyone has learned that you always stop what you are doing and log out before the servers go down. It’s always been the safe way and it’s why you are warned ahead of time.
You still don’t get that we were not warned?
They announced the maintenance. They didn’t just flip the switch out of the blue.
You do realise that different servers went down a couple of times the last week with no warning (crashed) or in the case of Mari and an SA server, less than 1-minute warning of an unscheduled restart?
Regardless of if it warning us or not, it doesn’t say anywhere that you will get f’ked out of your weekly attempt, or tell you to leave your instance or be potentially screwed.
Many groups had the mind set of “We will get some non serious practice runs in, and when servers shutdown, so be it” because there was no indication it would be a problem. Even in every other lost ark region it isn’t a problem as they have a system that automatically, and instantly, compensates you when you log back in. But nope, not in Western release.

I thought this was about the maintenance. I’m not trying to be an ***hole anyway. I just wanted to make sure people know to stop and log out anytime the server is going to disconnect to be safe.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t be compensated or anything. That is sg/ags decision.

So just let them cause more issues while hoping support actually does something about it? You fuckasses cry about nothing being done to bots and rmters meanwhile you expect support to magically care enough to address griefing issues? Curious what made you think relying on support would actually change something.
Please see this user’s post below, specifically where they mention issues of people leaving groups suddenly and/or after only a few attempt’s.
People can already rage quit, troll by failing mechanics (especially thinking about the counter stance that can knock the entire raid off the platform), or simply leaving. They get to go back in.
There is already nothing stopping these players with the limitations in place.
To an earlier question: Is there any chance that devs will reconsider the current system? Are they open to feedback on this particular area or is it 100% not up for discussion?
