What about the weapon skin itself? As I, and probably many others, have opened the chest already.
The weapon itself being bound to whatever you open it on was always intended. So there is nothing to be done about that honestly. You chose to open and use it on your chosen class.
Sorry but that is just not correct, as the chestpiece and pants are still bound to roster after opening them.

Hi Roxx! My box was bound as well and opened it thinking it was not going to be resolved. Is there any way you can take away the item I opened and just provide a ‘bound to roster’ chest in mail instead? I really don’t want this weapon on the character I have it on if possible, thanks!

My chest is still bound.
Apparently, the people that opened the chest got the skin deleted and received a roster bound skin chest via universal storage.
I didn’t opened the chest, so mine is still bound to character in my inventory.
Can we open the old box and get the new one? Or are those of us who didn’t open the box out in the cold?
My ark pass weapon skin box still bound in storage.
Still not fixed, unopened weapon chest remains bound on claimed character in his bank.
Thanks for the reports of this – we have confirmed with the dev team that we will be able to get a fix for the players that are still seeing this issue, but I do not yet have a timeframe for when this will be delivered. I’ll do my best to keep everyone posted!!
