I’m a fellow RU player living in RU region and… I’m really afraid. Part of me thinks that LA via “My Games” stays active only because all waiting for global release and after this significant event Ru version will slowly die… I know our community is big enough but you know this feeling of playing with masses? So do I and well i just want to hear your opinions

This is the usual problem with multiple releases of the same game at different times and places.

a lot of people on RU are waiting for this to come to NA/EU that’s for sure, don’t think it will kill the RU version though.

With EU releases and games, it’s always a problem when Russia have their own servers / region lock. In many scenarios, Russians tend to play on EU more often than on RU. For example, even in a game without a region lock like Dota 2, you’ll find that most RU players play on EU servers.
On a similar token, you will have EU players playing on NA and vise versa due to wanting to play with friends (whatever those things are lol)
On a slightly bright note, if the region does die out, you know where to go. Yeah, it’ll suck to start fresh but at least you’ll still get to play. However, I don’t think you’ll have anything to worry about, I’m sure plenty of people will play on RU.

I still wonder how much time will it take for global version to catch up with Ru or Kr. As i know Kr is like 2-3 months ahead of Ru

The way I see it is that this game’s western release will only add to the popularity of the game. So, in the event that there is a player exodus (from the RU server to the server of their respective region), it’s very likely that this game will reach even more players in the RU region that it didn’t reach before, compensating for those who were lost simply by virtue of that popularity spike. It’s a fairly optimistic take, but certainly a possibility. In either event, I’m fairly certain that the RU server will still be going strong.

think it was around a 1 year till they were 1 major content patch away from KR like now, i know RU started closed beta 1 year after the KR version first come out.

I wonder what the possibilities of AGS taking over the Russian region (once Americas/EU/Oceania catches up). Possible a transfer of equivalent content if Smilegate managed it. Unlikely but still a possibility if it ends up not being supported or atrophying due to the AGS version.
