I mean end of the day we have no idea who wanted the Yoz’s Jar rework, could be AGS or SG, or both, who knows. Just seems odd to automatically say it’s Amazon who didn’t want it reworked. Especially considering they probably had to convince SG how much we wanted the Stronghold buff and they were able to get it for us.

Apparently most of the KR community hates it too, which is echo’d by KR vet streamers. No one likes it really, I guess except whales you don’t care how much it costs.
The clients aren’t 1:1 though, they can’t just release all the content KR has at the same time for NA/EU. We have to work towards it. It’d be dumb if they just blew it all at us at once. People would just get frustrated and mega-mald that it’s even more of a whale game. It’d be dumb, which is why they’re not doing that.

i just doubt that sg would make the dumb decision, dev also in the crown interview criticized ags decision and bad communication. ( also didnt like name changes, but they still stayed so i guess sg dev has less say than ags ?xD)

we might be but they atleast apologize for mistakes try to fix it have alot of events alot of nice skin gifts too etc, so far from ags i dont see anything while having all those events on standby in the client.
I mean AGS has never held any events so it’s not that odd. Plus it’d be weird for them to hold an event without SG there, and it seems to be for them they prefer to just hold their own event. It’d be nice to see any communication from SG to their NA/EU community, which in my opinion they’ve done a bad job of. If they want to build loyalty and a sense of community in our region, SG has to do the work themselves, and they haven’t been. Gold River leaving I’m sure put a wrench in that, but for most of us it feels like there’s a huge disconnect between us the player and the people who actually make the game, which isn’t good for longevity.
but thats not their job tho its publishers job to promote hold events and shit, i mean gold river said he wouldve like to make an gobal event, now hes gone maybe still at some point but kr has no obligation to do something for us tbh, its not for nothing companys search publisher instead of publishing themself. Wouldve liked it more if sg just did publish it themself with stove client.

a good example why i think publisher have more rights than most people think is, kakao games and pearl abyss, before pearl abbys took over kakao just did alot of shit pearl didnt have in their kr version of bdo.
than at some point pearl said fuck it and took over, probably had to build a good connection and shit first so they dont have to remove chars etc so it took abit, but they saw it and at some point i guess contract money didnt keep them from lettin kakao keep doing shit.
None of this is easy since they’re a Korean company, but I disagree. If they want to build loyalty with other regions they need to be the ones talking to us directly. If AGS wants to pay for the event and do advertising, sure whatever, but it still needs to be Smilegate themselves talking to us.
Not sure about that cause technically AGS is the la owner of our version, like mygames in ru and idk name of jp company they have the rights to change or ask for changes.
Roxx even said at a skin thread ( idk when shouldve maybe took a pic) that they want their version of LA not kr so skins could also not come that we want from kr.
Publisher is basically the main guy, like i said i wouldve liked it more for sg to publish themselfs and just talk to us directly and release a good game with the changes we want like yoz yar and not the crystal system for pets and shit. But right now they are just the guys who give us patches or updates we dont have yet ( like the 30gb update with elgasia patch that we have in client now, or the balance patches that were fully new for classes)
they dont really do much besides that and u cant blame em u dont give rights away for big money so u have still to work alot in other regions.
