I’m looking for classes with skills that feel impactful, those that feel like you’re charging a big attack or that when you hit it feels it got weight. I think scrapper would be an example of this but I’m looking for other classes so I make alts. Thanks!

When Destroyer is out that.
The effects of scrapper is bit underwhelming compared to others but i think you describe slower more hard hitting as your preference.
And less the giant effects of something like sorcerer.
Gunlancer has 2 big damage charge attacks and has bit of weight to him in general.
Soulfist has that “spirit ball” ultimate that is hardest hitting thing in game. But the rest of her abilities might be too light(?)
Artillerist maybe? general slow casting with big effects. 2 very big explosions with delay and high impact. (requires skill points before you get fun parts)
Paladin.
Cant tell you how many times i’ve saved a fight/raid boss with the shield awakening ability.
If you’re good, people notice and you will get alot of praise. Especially if you can learn to counter.
I play with a zerker alot and when we line up our burst/damage buffs it’s pretty disgusting.
Slaps in PVP as well.
Never played a class in an MMO where i felt more impactful.
First classes that come to mind are Sorceress (definitely), and artillerist.
Both have loads of explosions and an epic “feel” to their skills.
With my Soulfist I can feel every hit I make, I don’t know if it’s just me, but I love it
I would say sorceress as top 1, artillerist and Zerk.
Oh and maybe the demonic as well.
From what I saw is Paladin quite good as well from this side.
ive got a Shadowhunter and an sorc and i must say the feeling for heavy impact is much better on the Shadow. You hit hard with your deamons and after 1 rota if you managed your runes etc you go into full berserk with several heavy impact explosions (and big dps numbers). Then again you go into recharge only to go full out 15 seconds later.
Shadowhunter feels awesome dancing in and out of demonic. Plus with the 2nd awakening skill you feel like evil superman jumping up and laser eyeing the target into oblivion
I love deadeye, think it’s criminally underrated. Getting behind a boss and landing your shotgun skills feels very big and impactful. Huge numbers baby!
Soulfist’s bigger issue (for me) and why I personally found it unfun was the hitting like a truck when under specialization, and hitting like a wet noodle while it recharges. I’m all for burst classes and all, but not being able to punch through wet toilet paper half the time turned me off the class personally. Other’s mileage may vary of course, not saying anything needs to be changed it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

When they run away from me and I miss shielding them, my head is very impactful on my desk
I feel like nobody plays Striker, but I find their abilities to have a nice meaty feel to them. Is the reason I’m sticking to the class for now, even though I dislike some other aspects. Many classes feel floaty, like you are hitting through enemies and I don’t feel that with Striker.
Sorceress +1, especially with the build that uses Punishing Strike, Explosion, and Doomsday since they’re all single hit skills with long cast times. Charging up a slow skill that finally makes contact and does a huge number in a big, flashy aoe? absolutely
