dont think any1 ever said lost ark had one of best design pvp lol,if anything every streamer said otherwise and told u to just go play league lol, pvp is bad in this game and it was abandoned very quickly even on kr
at this point pvp needs a massive balance patch,range/ccduration/iframes etc, literally everything have to be changed in pvp to even have a chance of it being popular, oh yeah, and lets not forget forced 21:9 aspect xD why is that even a thing
there is a reason why only like 5% of playerbase plays pvp
One of the best most fun pvp I played for a long time
its fairly balanced I would say, compared to other pvp games out there, yes you have some annoying abit op classes but thats a thing in almost every game
if you said pvp its unbalance, well ofc it is because if you take a look at the division franchise from ubisoft same topic like this always pop up in their forum asking for a overhaul darkzone. lol
but if you play it for fun you will not see that kind of imbalance.
p.s,
every pvp in pve game always like this, because your mindset think my character is good in pve so its should be good also in pvp.
It’s pretty fun if you take the time to learn the intricacies of it, if you just run in balls to the wall and rush the other team constantly you’re going to have a bad time. It does need more attention and adjustments though.
Don’t get me wrong it is fun when both teams are evenly matched, but when it’s so one sided, it isn’t fun, even when you are on the winning side topping the charts.
Plus the rewards is not worth the time I could be earning gold or earning mats to hone
Its “ok” if you play a meta role, other than that its absolute garbage. Its an unbalanced mess with little to no care from the developers, but the weekly extra mats and even Bracelets now make up for it.
It would be a lot better if it wasn’t centered around CC-Locking. As it is, the mode is basically a Cat > Mouse constant chase which is not all that fun. Also 3v3 is hot trash but its all people play so I’m forced to play tag-team.
Well posted a picture just showing you could get 4 bracelets from the PVP shop at Supreme 1 and I was flooded with people that made sure to know they would never PVP in this game. Some people are vehemently against participating in it in this game.
Compared to the majority of mmo’s I’ve played the Lost Ark PvP balance is quite decent and more skill oriented. But before we talk about PvP balance we need to realize there are 3 types of PvP in this game.
Matchmade PvP where it’s free of engravings, gems, gear
Open world PvP that equalizes gear somewhat (some islands)
Open world PvP that doesn’t equalize gear and you fight with what you got (some islands)
I’d say for 1 & 2 it’s quite balanced for the most part.
