idk much bout this game atm so just kind of wondering if theres a way to prep for artists release or not (yes i aware shell prolly not release anytime this year likely for na/eu)
atm i main a war dancer i dont like bard much havent tried pally (not sure if any of that info matters in regards to my question)

depends on what do you like.
Do you like nice skill animations, fast paced combat? Wardancer (but be aware, they suboptimal until 1300+ ilevel)
You like big hits and magic? Sorceress
You like to be a melee powerhouse? Berzerker
You like to support? Paladin is melee support, while bard is ranged support.
Do you like a very balanced class that almost never gets nerfed? Scrapper.
You on the assassin like? Deathblade
Wanna be a demon assassin? Shadowhunter
Do you like Dragonball? Soulfist
Do you want to be a living turret ? Artillerist
Do you like girls with guns? Gunslinger
Do you like classic Hunter? Sharpshooter

i like my war dancer lol but i meant should i be playing a more specific class to prep for artist , like i heard some ppl in area chat talkin bout lvling a martialartist class to prep for lance masters eventual release
Oh ok i get the point, sorry. I was following so many posts that i end up mixing some stuff 
I guess being Artist a support, your best bet is prepare using another support.
I see you dn’t like bard, so paladin it is? i dont know if artist is more an “aura” support (paladin) or a “target” support (bard)
I recommend you look for the most used build for artist, and play as a class that use those engravings, so as artist release you’ll have all the main engravings ready to use.

They play kinda similar. While Artist has a bit more of the “omph” for that no perma troll shield
hard to say, i didnt like aiming heals and having ppl run away from them lol, i also don’t like ranged combat much :x
idk a WHOLE lot bout artist atm i just saw the brush and kno shes got a lil bit of everything and is more melee then bard also i feel like heal orbs will be easier for pugs so ppl arent running all over the place. i might be wrong we will see eventually lol
I can’t wait for Artist. I hope they understand that they should not hold back when it comes to classes releases and release them all in 1-2 months…
I wanted to play artist so bad, her animations are stunning and I love the Okami aesthetic, but her being a loli is such a letdown.
At this point I hope they release all these classes so that we catch up in terms of what we can play and which character we want to invest in.
