Hard, I’m between third paladin, second chadlancer, or second bard. New class for nothing that later are gems and more engravings that it didn’t even reach in the main.
Since I already bought the one for Machinist maybe Artillerist or my Gunlancer.
The allure of making like 4-6 of the same class for gold farming was a bit tempting. However I am one of those players that likes to experience all the classes in a game.
A big reason why I started playing this game in the first place was because the roster system is hands down better than any mmo I’ve ever played!
Powerpass and hyper express are just the cherry on top ![]()
In the end I chose to buy a 7th slot and create a machinist. The gameplay really looks like my style. Sad about no female option but the male toon has a ton of swagger ![]()
Still trying to decide on who to hyperpass now though still thinking my sorc.
DPS bard of course
another paladin of course.
since we have no artist ;D
Def scouter, been waiting for it for some time now and if i can get it to 1415 fast - even better.
a zerk
dps paladin
i got the ambush masters
the judgement books are free
easy 5x3
Deleting Sorc for Sharpshooter.
Assassin. Copium.
i will powerpass my way out of this game i think ![]()
I would suggest you to first decide if you want to either main the Bard or the Sorc !
It doesn’t really matter which character you use the Express Event on, with the global honing buff “evolving” you can get characters to 1415 really fast anyway. The express event may give you a decent chunk of materials at the end so that you can push a bit further, up to 1430+, and do Vykas, but at this point in the game you’ll reach 1430 in no time with any new character.
Also worth to mention that you don’t have to use these pass/event TODAY. You can use theim in 2 weeks from now if you want to. A common mistake is to create a new class, immediately push it to 1415+ using powerpass and event just to realise that the class design/gameplay is not suited for you ! And then you kinda may regret having use your pass… So I definitely suggest you to use the event on a character you enjoy a lot so that you can push it straight into Legions raids.
For some Global advice : Here are the main immediate things to do for you as a new player :
- Push main to 1385 (that’s done already) and push all 6 roster to 1370. That is easily done by doing T1/T2 tower, Punika main story quest into side quest (reach 1340), go into South Vern and complete its MSQ and you get a decent chunk of materials to reach 1370. Do this of every 6 of your characters.
- Once you have 6 characters at 1370 do NOT waste pheons on accessory. If Yoho is too much of a pain, consider doing low lvl Guardian (example : Nacrassena (rohendel) ) you can do theim solo in a couple of mn and it rewards you with a decent amount of daily golds. You don’t have to play all 6 characeters daily. All you have to do is to make sure you get the Argos gold (buy the bus to get your 1700g) and Oreha 2000g (you can either do it yourself or get into “no-bid carry”). That shouldn’t take you more than a couple hour weekly, unless you get jailed by bad bus drivers kekw.
At this point, that already a lot of content to do and not especially an enjoyable one (doing Yorn/Punika MSQ 6 time in a row is kinda desperge) but it’s a solid start for you. You don’t need to play your characters daily, just rest bonus theim, do some guardians from time to time, see how you like the gameplay of specific class. Basically just chill a bit at this point. Here’s another layers of content that you have to do as a new player and you can consider doing while chilling :
- Horizontal Content : Speedrun to Tier 3 - Lost Ark Maxroll.gg This guide will help you getting additionnal T1/T2 materials to quickly push your characters into T3. With the global honing buff, the amount of materials you get by completing all this side-island quests gives you more than enough materials to push your entiere roster to T3.
- Horizontal Content : Skill points, Runes, collectibles. Endgame Post Tier 3 Guide for Lost Ark - Maxroll.gg Maxroll again has good guides about it.
- One time events that you can do :
-
- Anguish Island : You can collect materials and goodies by doing the quest and dungeons every day.
-
- Kadan quest : If you haven’t done it, this quest give you large amount of materials.
-
- Chaos line (normal 1340 / heroic 1415) : Chaos line is an activity that rewards you with a currency you can spend to get materials, cards, and other goodies. You get 2 key entry per week with the weekly quest, so make sure you grab all of these rewards !
-
- Thronespire : Remember to get your Thronespire rewards as well !
So while chilling doing all these, you can hoard on some materials and decide later which class you want to main. At this point, your main goal is to select a character you want to be your main and push it all the way to 1460 to unlock an additionnal honing buff (Stronghold Research) that’ll help you pushing alt above 1370. I would suggest not to push any alt above 1370 until you get one character to 1460.
Once your main is at 1460 and the new Stronghold research is unlock, you can work toward pushing other character to 1430 and increase your gold generation. Be mindful tho that going into 1415+ content you’ll want to get your character geared : get some engravings, gems etc… So I would suggest you to proceed step by step and everytime you get a new character into Legion raid, consider buying a first real accessory setup (typically 4x3+1 setup) so they’re gucci even for Hard mode.
Good luck !
Waiting for next roadmap first then Paladin if they give powerpass and hyper express for next class
haha
Wonderfully written out! Thank you ![]()
I ended up hyper expressing my sorc and it’s now just about 1370.
Next thing to decide is if I want to transfer the hyper pass back to my bard to push bard for 1430 since it’s much easier to enter the high game content with a support.
I want sorc to be my main main down the line though.
That’s decision you’ll have to take for sure. Pushing to 1430 is now just formality with global honing buff anyway.
The real investement comes when you push above 1460 and you need to do it at least once to get the stronghold research (so that pushing 1430 become a formality ^^ see the point) so yeah … gotta decide which one first !
Obviously it seems like you enjoy both your sorc and bard so eventually you’ll bring both into 1460 anyway. I would suggest you to push the Bard first, because that one will get you easily into party without having to worry about gatekeeping. But as a new player you already have a lot of things to do so you can really just take your time here.
You nailed it! I love both a lot, with gunslinger being my next favorite.
That is some great advice, I just hit 1370 on sorc and will transfer back over to bard. Thank you!
