Prices of engravings should have plummeted in KR, the game has been out for years, majority of people have several legendary engravings so demand for them would drop, sources to get those books have also increased over the years, you would think they would be as easy to get as purples at this point but they arent.
Probably because Gold is much less worth in KR.
we are sitting curently on EUC at 900g for 238 crystals while korea is at at peak at 2700 gold/238 crystals (i think)
So ita should be the other way arround while a engraving would cost 7k in KR, on our servers it should be 2,5k …ofc thats just pure thinking and would be never the case.

it seems like this outlandish thing. 20 grudge books is something like 170k gold on NAE but even with a shit-tier roster thats about 7-8 weeks of saving for me.
the better the roster the easier it gets.
eventually you’ll need them to get your 5x3 and if u are still playing at that point, you’ll likely see it as being worth while.

5x3 isn’t what kills bosses, it’s staying alive.

technically you are correct but 5x3 is what gets you invited.
its not about what you need to kill the boss its about what you need to get into a group. unless every single one of your 6 characters runs in a static you will eventually have to pug content. and trust me when i say this
if you dont match up to some arbitrary requirement that everyone in the party finder uses, you can spend hours just trying to get into a group.
dps are held to a much higher standard gear wise because there are so many of them. when clown comes out 1490+ 5x3 with full Lv 7 gems are going to the the first picks for every group. anyone with less then that are going too be SoL.
people are being told by every KR streamer that you “need” 5x3 for clown. so expect every group to require that.
