What happened to capture events?

So I have done alot of searching and havent seen any information or comments on this. So Im making this post now. I will not humor replies from forum trolls.

What happened to the capture event rewards? 60% less gems now? And also a measly 2 accessories for a weekly event? Thats less gems from 1 boss rush ticket, and less accessories than the field boss daily that spawns multiple times per week.

I also talked to my friend, and he was on the losing team. And he got NOTHING at the end. So is it now you get nothing if you lose as well?

This really seems like a way to make it not worth seeking out to do. As there are so many other activities to spend your time on that are more rewarding. And dont give you the possibility of getting nothing in return for your time.

I used to feel bad that usually saturdays when they set it up, I was away. But now with this change. I probably wont even do it when im not busy. Because im not trying to waste my time and get nothing half the time.

Everyone get the same rewards regardless of whether your team won or lost. But the amount of rewards is determined by the guild that hosts the capture event. If you get a cheap host that chose a low level reward, you get pitiful amount. You can also only get rewards once per capture event.

Yeah after I left home someone clued me in on that fact. I had no idea it worked that way. Thanks for clearing it up anyways though dude.

Thank you for clearing this up, however I see you feel the rewards are not the best. What would you change to bring good rewards to this mode?

I feel the rewards are fine right now, as long as the hosting guild chooses the highest level reward. A lot of other people seem to have the same feeling.

The problem is when the host cheaps out and picks a lower level reward, which makes the event no longer worth doing given its limited time schedule. Perhaps a bit more incentive for the host to pick higher level rewards? Since it does cost them bloodstones to host. Not monetary rewards, just something that they can flex about, like special guild icon or emote for the week.
