So months ago, I was banned for ‘Code of Conduct’ in early March. It was stated by the game mods that I ‘Refunded DLC’ and I showed them proof that I did not do that nor break any other game rules at the time. I was trying to constantly appeal at the time but barely got any response other than the typical automated messaging.
After a week of trying to get their attention via live chat or appeal, I was sent a message that now I was banned for offensive language. How could I get banned for offensive language when I couldn’t even play. I barely talked in-game as is. The only time I would is if I need to emote for a quest. After a month of trying to get back to playing, I gave up as their support was horrible and never got any help. I mean I’m even on a different account appealing for my main since I can’t post here if banned.
Fast forward to May 29th, I went to my friend’s house and they mentioned to me that they noticed my ban was removed off my steam profile (Haven’t logged on Steam/Lost Ark for months). After I got back to my house, I went to check Steam and lo and behold I was no longer flagged w/ the vac/game ban. No email response to them telling me I was unbanned either. The unban message from Steam was dated May 5th. As soon as I updated the game, I logged on and when I got to the server select. Bang! Another instant ban and this time the reason was for cheating and it was flagged on my Steam account again. I’m kinda over this whole game but my friend wants me to play so why not give it a shot to get some sort of help/reply from AGS support. I doubt anything will happen but shooting for the stars here.

Bought Gold & Platinum Founders and gifted one as well (All 3 not refunded)
Quickest re-ban for no reason lmao. Kind of why I quit the game was knowing that their support is one of the worst compared to other MMO’s I’ve played.
The live chat even gave me a ticket ID for an appeal I haven’t even sent yet… smh
That support agents messaging, is hard to read. I had to do a double take at first reading “I’m sorry not”, legitimately thought he was just insulting you.
I don’t know if you deserved the ban or not, but the way they are handling the ban in of itself is atrocious. They can’t provide straight forward answers on why you were banned and issuing zero information on your changing account status. It all just reeks of incompetence.
I hope you get unbanned, even if you never play the game again. I’d just hate to have that stain on my steam account.
Thank you for posting your thoughts in our forums!
@e7gc I am sorry to hear that you were banned from Lost Ark. I’d like to clarify that our bans are reviewed manually by a team that is in charge of them. Also, unfortunately this is not a matter we handle in the forums support, if you want to appeal your ban, please refer to the following link:
I recommend you to submit the screenshots you showed in here, and explain detailed your situation.
I have appealed and I don’t get any replies, that is why I’m on here… Before my recent appeal, last appeal in March didn’t get a response. Just the quiet unban on May 5.
I am sorry that your appeal did not get an answer before. We surely don’t want you to experience that. Please file another appeal, I assure you, you will be attended properly this time. Also, unfortunately, we can not review your ban or take actions here in the forums, as we are not part of the team in charge of it, so, please wait for them to get back to you.
Yes, its called a subject access request. Ask for any personal information they hold on you reguarding your ban, its a legal requirement all companies have to honor as part of EU data protection laws. As this is a legal requirement they have to comply within a month unless there is a reason why they are unable to.
I’d specifically ask for chat logs and purchasing data due to the reasons given in the ban.
