Played this game for 10 months, then all of a sudden gets permanently banned. Not knowing what for. Thinking, surely this was a massive error and AGS will fix it. ‘Not an automated’ appeal team asks us to provide more evidence. Submitted about 100 appeal tickets for the past 3 months detailing everything.

You have so many bots and cheaters that are running around in Akasia and not banned. Yet actual fair players pleading here for over 3 months now to get unbanned. Can you understand our frustrarion? Tell your ban appeal team to get their act together and find the source of these error detection.

I’m pretty disappointed to see those who were in that false ban wave are still waiting for a response on this issue.

They are probably here because they at least get some kind of real person talking to them, even if it’s just knowing they aren’t the only ones. CS has historically been awful, you guys have forums full of people asking why the CS is so bad but it never changes. A year later and it’s always people saying “this feels like an automated reply where they didn’t even have a real person look at my issue at all” and then a CM saying “no, it was a real person (source: trust me).”

Seriously, just read through comments on posts like this, actually read them, and you can see how people are upset. Many of them even have concrete proof, as well as screenshots showing CS that same proof. And they just get told “get rekt pls stop replying” as a response.

I’m not trying to rag on the CMs or anything, it just seems weird to me that you have people saying your CS dept is screwing them over and you guys tell them not to talk about that here. If people feel like they are getting automated responses when they are showing PROOF of being wrongfully banned when talking to CS, is your response really “don’t talk about it on the forums, talk to CS again and just kinda hope it’s different”?

AGS is a crap company that randomly bans players by mistake every month

Players who have been wrongly banned have not been properly addressed and compensated, and your responses to the complaint process are a bunch of bots and a piece of shit

What are you talking about, are you overriding Roxx? Are you saying there is no further concern and investigation into false bans? After Roxx has multiple times confirmed there is false bans that have occurred and not been resolved?

Most of us are banned from ban appeals. I cannot actually get a response from them since my initial one in December was bot responded to saying not to file any further appeals.

If you would read this thread, you would see most of the others here are in the same predicament that their appeals get no response. What you’re telling us to do isn’t a real answer.

Not at all overriding Roxx or saying that false bans are not a concern. Just explaining that we cannot investigate nor reverse bans through forum threads.

Then there are no further avenues for players who have been falsely banned.

You can say false bans are a concern, but with no way to remedy the known situation I cannot call that concerned in the slightest.

This impacts players far greater than is appreciated, once again let me show you my red mark that increments everyday on my steam profile. Not only are some of the once most dedicated players who had a 1000+ hours logged banned but chased into all of their future gaming as well with this as a reminder.

I formally ask you to reconsider your stance of inability to assist. It may be outside of your position under normal circumstances, but I would not call this ongoing issue normal circumstances. Something has to be done, and the victims of this are powerless to do anything.

Then what WILL you do? Tell the people who are complaining about automated responses going nowhere to contact the same avenue that leads to automated responses? I get that YOU physically cannot unban someone, we all understand that. What the community wants YOU to do is show a fraction of the representation that the title “COMMUNITY MANAGER” implies. Relay the fact that the current way AGS customer service works IS AWFUL! You have people who have played the game for thousands of hours, probably spent money, talking to the customer service bots for MONTHS!

It’s so frustrating to everyone that every single one of you guys say “well we can’t unban, go talk to the bots” and leave it at that. Do SOMETHING, talk to SOMEONE, show literally ANY sign that there is going to be a real resolution. MANAGE THE COMMUNITY, PLEASE

Yeah, that secondary threat that you had to make because we closed your previous one with 500+ comments because we closed it not once, but twice, haha. We even told you that we were looking into the issue, you guys are so silly hahahah.

77 days since my permanent ban. It’s amazing to me that Amazon has yet to give me a valid reason to my ban. I’ve submitted nearly 200 appeals since January and have basically been stuck at square one the whole time. It is extremely disappointing to see AGS looking the other way when a customer who spent thousands of dollars on their product receives a false ban by an anti-cheat that is NOTORIOUS for false bans. Look at any other game that utilizes EAC; you’re bound to find instances of multiple false ban waves that occurred for a variety of reasons.

That’s not even the worst of it… I know people who used actual botting software on Lost Ark, got banned for it, and then appealed and received an unban within hours. If AGS is actively unbanning cheaters, wouldn’t it make sense that innocent players are being banned as well? This company is consistently inconsistent when it comes to penalties for RMT, Cheating, Botting, you name it.

There is a reason why most MMOs issue temporary bans or warnings as an initial response to detection of sus programs. I was literally logged in for 2 minutes and didn’t leave Punika before I was automatically DCed by EAC. I don’t know what triggered it, but anyone with common sense should realize that people like myself deserve a second chance.

Dear CMs,

We never expected you to unban us. We expect you to help us to contact the appeal team or esculate these bans. These perma bans are serious matters. Dont just brush and ignore.

Solving these error will help your cheat detection system in the future. I know I can only vouch for myself. But seriously, your appeal team has got this wrong. There is some error in these detections. Tell them to spend some time on it. Pretty sure one look into my account/character history, you will find nothing that would suggest any cheat software used.

So our cheat prgrams are pretty serious if we are getting perma bans. They must think we are using bot programs. We all know how good your bot detection algorithm is since there are no bots running around in Akasia…(yes this is sarcasm for any AGS bots reading this).

Have no idea how to ban bot accounts. Also no clue how to unban legit accounts.
