Yeah, since the “pass on CS” last week and locking our threat i have not received any updates neither. No e-mail from Amazon, not unbanned nor i have received any response from DMs I sent to Iron maiden, the CM that locked our threat.

I understand that they are investigating the issue. But it has been 2 months already. Can’t they unban us first and look to how to fix their EAC spaghetti later? How long do they plan us on waiting to fix their misshap. It’s been more than 2 months, just get someone to manually look every one of our action from that day and confirm that we didn’t use any cheating program nor behave suspiciously. Or get someone on call with us so we can explain ourselves properly and see if we can pinpoint what’s it’s making us suspicious.

Agreed with Cesco. We are told to remain patient after waiting months already. At this point, I don’t think I want to continue playing the game but the principle of the whole situation is what triggers me the most (Being permanently banned for offenses we did not commit). Let us start an actual conversation. Being limited to a certain number of characters in our appeal messages leaves us starting at square one every time we resubmit a new appeal. It’s hard to “provide additional information” when we can’t even have a back-and-forth conversation.

As far as I can see, our wave of erroneously banned ones were all locked in quick succession within 10 minutes of each other at the same time,obviously, this is not normal

I was also caught in the December false ban wave probably due to a EAC error detection. Could you please raise this issue with your team and investigate further with EAC. That would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys I have a friend that got perma banned 3 hours ago, and he never cheated/rmt/macro/dps meter.

He even created an post about it, and found out another player on the forum who was banned too. He scanned his pc for malwares maybe that triggered the anti cheat? And nope, 0 malwares.

And now he see people have been banned for 2 months and yet no reply, they are still investigating, even locked to other thread.
this saddens us, a game that we love to play, made friends in it and has no respect whatsoever for our time. now we feel hopeless :confused:

Brother we have been blocked for more than 60 days in this wave and the official message , don’t worry,anyway don’t worry, In fact, our wave of players who were wrongly banned on December 12 were not a few, then after a few days of official investigation, it was Christmas and then our ban was delayed indefinitely until now

@distantefix What further research is there to do? @Roxx already confirmed the bans were false positives. They requested everyone to post their info, got a few unbanned manually, then everyone took off for Christmas/New Years to never discuss this again. @ShieldMaiden confirmed the investigation got closed. They scrolled up one page to get 3 users info in a thread literally full of a thousand responses. Gave a 2 hour window for others to repost their info, then locked the thread. That’s how it’s going.

Scroll through the last thread, get all the info, and just lift the bans. It will take you all of an hour. It isn’t even worth this trouble, all of the players have 60+ days been banned. They’re not going to play the game again. All they are going to do is continually bump this thread, make a new one, and post in other gaming circles not to play the next game AGS publishes. And they’re never going to stop, because the red mark on their steam account is never going away for false positive bans that were handed out and ignored. Maybe people didn’t believe them in December. “Hah, false positive bans can’t be real!” Then you guys ignored the issue until it went into overdrive and started banning inactive players. The game’s Steam review is nothing but false bans now. Glad that case was worth doing something about. Maybe it’s time to look into this?

A friend of mine got perma banned 3 days ago, and he never cheated/rmt/macro/dps meter too.
He tried to talk with the amazon support several times in a row and is starting to become really hopeless and frustated.
I’ll let his infos here in case of further analysis.
But please it is really bothering he so much.

For any community moderators suggesting appeals, let me make it clear. Appeals do not work for false bans. There is an automated response that says the decision is what it is and nothing will change it. After that first, instant automated email, you never again receive a response no matter further appeals. I have not spammed it, but I have tried it twice(?) more with weeks spaced out. Including again during the January false-ban crisis. I have never received a follow up response after this automated one, I assume the appeals are all filtered to a garbage bin.
