It’s almost coming up on year for when I was unjustifiably banned. Was doing chaos dungeon and then after banned for cheating and now they say botting.
Lets talk about EAC perma bans for known cheat programs.
First of all, EAC does not deal with bots or bot related activities (correct me if I’m wrong). AGS deals with it by initiating ban waves and things like limiting 20 items in the auction house.
EAC is the issue driving these error detections for cheat programs.
EAC is mainly used for competitive PVP, such as COD, Battlefield, and Fortnite, to stop programs such as aimbots to gain edge over other players and ranking points.
Then there is lost Ark. A mainly PvE MMO game with no insentive to use cheat programs like aimbots. Yet somehow some of us gets banned for it.
I have 3 bards. Yeah I better use cheat programs so I can heal more. Maybe Solo Vykas. What a good idea. (Note the sarcasm).

Has the Ark VAC on steam been lifted?
The customer service at AGS is all robotic, otherwise we would be here?

I have sent sent countless emails to AGS and appeals that have lead to nothing. I’m ready to give up and move on. I have not done anything for being accused of cheating and now botting. It’s been an uphill battle to just play again after being accused falsely. I don’t hack/cheat/bot.

Still waiting on a response/unban… lol. 4900 hour roster (with 3k USD spent on RC as well) gone at the mercy of EAC’s shitty detection and AGS’ nonexistent player support. Hopefully all the false bans get turned over and this doesn’t happen again.

That isn’t the best way of dealing with a ban, though.
As sad as it is, our best bet is to constantly regurgitate the same information onto the forums or reddit until it catches someone’s eye, and even after it gets “investigated”, we can only hope. Some of us have waited months to even get a human response, I mean I had to write a goddamn appeal in German before I got an actual human response ( which still led to nothing 
) I am also certain that the appeals submitted via English website are outsourced to “Amazon Development Center” in India. The agents, who probably aren’t even familiar with Lost Ark, reply with the same copy-and-paste template and most likely have never heard of Lost Ark or even have the power to escalate our tickets. How do I know this? Well, one of the agents forgot to use their fake American name and I took that and did some Googling.
I know you’re just a CM but this appeal system really needs a rework considering all of the players who lost their accounts due to EAC detection errors. I considered myself an extremely active player of the game (Played NA beta, RU for a few hundred hours, and had 4k hours on NA, along with both deathless titles and a 16 character roster). Not saying someone with more playtime should get special treatment, but how the hell are there innocent players getting banned for “Cheat Software” when cheating in a game like Lost Ark isn’t as common or beneficial as other online games (shooter games etc…). There’s no obvious benefit to doing it unless you’re running a massive bot farm. Someone with thousands of hours on the game isn’t going to risk their account for a damn speed hack or bot script.
There either needs to be more flags set in place to highlight any potential false bans, and/or an actual working appeal system where the customer is able to start and continue a conversation/thread regarding their personal appeal process instead of talking to a virtual brick wall.

Hey so I was banned almost 273 or 280 days ago, wrongfully but they fixed it today. I’m so happy to be back I missed this game. And to anyone wondering I did not get an email from them saying I was unbanned I just checked the forums and saw I could post here with my main account. And then I checked my game and was able to login. IM SOOO HAPPY TO BE BACK. THANKS AGS and @Roxx @ShieldMaiden again. The truth always prevails.

Are people getting unbanned posting, appealing, or just randomly happening? Glad to hear something is happening but still seeing nothing over here.
