That’s true but I’m not sure if it applies to OP. He has 5x1445 and he would need like 4-5k bound leapstones per character 50k red frags and 150k blue frags. We also don’t know the accessories so if he has full legendary that would need to be replaced for clown.
It depends on how much bound stuff he has I guess. I pushed my main and 4 alts because I’m doing clown on them anyway but my 6th character is something I regret having so just kept it at 1445. I would need to dump loads of unbound mats into pushing it that I’d otherwise just sell but decided to keep it at 1445 because I don’t think it would be worth it.
Maybe I’m wrong I guess having one or two more characters at that ilvl would definitely be worth it but pushing all of them I don’t know.

its doable to reach that goal of mats in 8-9 weeks with 5 alts , even with rested bonus
a 1445 reaches with chaos and guardian on rested bonus enough to atleast push 3 od that alts just from holding the mats , also if his main stays on the current ilvl that mats can be used aswell
It’s doable but this is what I’m saying. Like it ties your hands completely because you need to use a bunch of unbound mats which otherwise you could have sold and 600k average scenario over 8-9 weeks means you need to save every bit of gold you can get your hands on up to a 100k a week and that doesn’t include the fusion mats.
So you are looking at something like potentially a million gold even if you have bad luck I don’t think 1490 CD will be that profitable to be honest. It is a good investment for those who already had a lot of bound leapstones and shard and already have alts above 1460. I would probably not push 5 1445 characters in hopes of profit but that’s just me I can be wrong.

Proceeds to explain a far from done roster, i thought you were gonna say something like 1512 brel 5-6 ready main, 5 1490 alts brel 1-2 ready, everything 5x3, whats next step? your alts are far from done, and so is your roster.
So I wanna give you some actual advice, instead of the majority telling you that you need to push everything to Brel and such because people can’t read (shocker in these forums, I know)
So it looks like you have your goals for your alts and mains set and completed with this scenario
Nice ideas would be to finish books to help get 5x3 easier for alts and main, quality upgrades for alts and main as well so they do decent damage, maybe invest in your skin game a bit to make your alts and main look fly, or working on getting level 10 gems for main like you mentioned
Or if you wanna hardcore, 9/7 stone is waiting, wouldn’t recommend though lol
Another idea that I know I’ll get roasted on is if you feel like you have this huge surplus of gold, help your community a bit
I try to help people when I can with smaller things (Tome item purchases for skill point pots, selling stashes of pots and food I have to people cheap who may go through food and boxes a lot quicker, even lending bits of gold for people who need it, with the expectation of “pay it back when you can”)
It’s never large things, but small things like that can make someone’s day and lead to “pay it forward”
But if you feel differently, then focus on those gems, but remember to not get burnt out while doing so
It’s not a race to get those gems asap, they’re supposed to come with time, so keep that in mind

People do help and do free carries, i see it all the time in pugs of valtan and vykas, statics pug 1 or 2 guys and those guys are usually terrible but its fine, statics dont need them so its esentially free carrys, some oreha runs are also free since people cba to go through the gem transaction to sell a carry for just a card run, you are mixing this suggestion of helping with being entitled, people called you an entitled little kid cause you unironically wanted to ban people for buying grudges, calling you an entitled little kid falls short.

I was main 1505 and 5 alts at 1445, now all my alts at 1470ish just 1 or 2 taps away from clown and main pitied an armor slot with bound mats and is now 1507.5
So im aiming for all altsto be clown clearing a few weeks before brel, even if its just gate1 or 2 for the set bonus

What bothers me is when you say this. So generally you can afford to get outside the 1500 range. So no point in making efficiency a standard.
If you do want to cut the costs and don’t want to “5/3” your alts right away for the clown. Just get to 1472.5 do Argos get gold. Do normal Vykas. Horde bound mats for that 1490 push. I am doing that now just upgrade my alts weapons to +20 and gloves.
The only streamers you have to worry about are the “F2P” ones. A lot of Korean streamers that whales actually know how to play and what they are talking about. NA/EU ones should be classified as entertainment only… lol
But yes as someone already pointed out the new mats are basically a multiplier of 5. Think of it as 1302-1369 and jump to 1370.
Except for Brelzhasa and the new Guardian, the chaos dungeons don’t need a lot of gearing to do. Don’t “need” 5/3.

I think players exaggerate the costs of honing, of course, I can’t argue when lady luck destroys players it happens. I got 20 weapons, 20 gloves, and 19 shoulders for four alts… it wasn’t as bad.
I don’t “count” bound mats to the costs.

You summarized it pretty well, esentially you want your alts to be 1490, even if you wont do brel 1-2 with them, chaos + kal is gonna be such an absurd amount of gold that no one should ignore it, and in this case theres no “waiting for honing” argument to be done, the issue probably for most is not being able to do 6 clowns and thats fair, but then again you also said to park at 1472.5 for every alt that you dont wanna do clown with.
Thats the issue i think when people say “get your alts to 1490” they assume they all must be 5x3 and doing clown, which is very very expensive, but its not the case at all, ideally but not necessarily.
