When you use a power pass to boost to 50, you’re dropped in Vern with not much guidance. It appears that Shushire is already completed up to that point and now I need to improve my gear to 460 to move on to Rohendel.
Outside of cash shop what’s the best way playing the game to do that. Where do I start in other words? Chaos dungeons give the same ilvl gear that the power pass started me off with (302).
You don’t need to cash shop.
Go to Vern, do some Chaos Dungeons, Guardian Raids etc and get yourself some upgrade materials. Once you’re done with those do some Una’s Tasks and/or Islands to get more.
If you want you can just spam Chaos Dungeons when you get bored for Disorder Crystals and exchange them at the vendor for whatever upgrade materials you want (this is slower overall but fun tbh).
EDIT: Once you hit 340 you can run Abyssal Dungeons too, this is only two upgrades in.
There are so many guides that you can follow on YouTube & Google, as to how to get materials to level up your gear quickly.
I’d recommend doing some research, rather than relying on people in these forums to tell you what to do.
Thanks, one thing I’m confused on is when I hover over my gear that I got from Chaos dungeons it says at the bottom: Cannot upgrade quality. Is that referring to the number out of 100 at the top rather than the item level?
T1 = do daily 2 chaos dungeon (the higher you can do)
do isles (those listed in the “wellcome” menu near minimap, in the tab on the right)
it is more than enough to get to ilvl 460
Do Rohendel, isle, get 600
Do Yorn, isle, get 960
Do feiton and… now the game get slower in stuff progression…
Before feiton, to be honest, cash shop is useless or near to useless. i did it straight in like 4 days (so not many chaos dungeon) without any cash shop components.
If you have lower gametime than me, you will need more days to do isle, so more chaos dungeon so even more components that i collected. (so even lower need to have cash shop)
I have been doing for a few days now chaos dungeons, i have a ton of stuff i’ve dismantled I guess I just need to look up a guide how to improve my item level on my current gear. I didn’t know until just now that I could upgrade that using something called Honing I think?
I will check out the islands thanks for the tip on that.
Harmonyshards, harmony leapstone : upgrade armor AND weapon
Guardian = upgrade armor
Destruction = upgrade weapon.
For t2 this is
Life shards, Life leapstone, destruction/guardian stones (not “fragment”)
When you will reach ilvl 600 you will have your weapon and 5 armor to +15. In the end of yorn quests, you will be able to do the first yorn chaos dungeon, you will get ilvl 802 armor and weapon. rince and repeat with those new components. (to 960 => feiton => 1100 => T3 and now “end game” begins)
I have around 1500 Guardian Stone Fragment, 600 Destruction stone Fragment, 40 Harmony Leapstone, 121 perception shard, 20 disorder crystal, jeez I need to research what all this stuff does. So many types of materials. Hopefully I can get a few upgrades out of this.
You should have gotten a purple quest about honing. If you look in your journal under guide quests it should be there, and it will teach you about honing.
When you finish Shushire you get a quest that tells you what you can do to get to iLvl 460, in terms of a list of activities and so on. Basically run chaos dungeons, guardian raids, Una’s dailies, tower, cube and islands.
I just got my first cube dungeon pass thing from a chaos dungeon, going to give that a try and some raids. then explore some isles. thanks guys
