I’m voicing, yet again, my concerns that since the start they have not made any efforts to understand or change things for Europe.
- No Language Tags on servers
- No Official pinned post with Server Languages
- No Maintenance times during the night for Europe
- Now, no research into naming conventions ( it’s easy to predict the slur’s thrown at Spanish/Portuguese players - maybe even French, depending on your view of “west” - for not moving out to EUROPE WEST ).
It’s a trend that it’s propagating as you move forward, instead of being corrected.

even with chartransfer is it useless, since chartransfer is normaly region locked, lost ark will certainly not be an exception to this rule
I agree with most, it’s a marketting bait. To get more people there. They should put an XP boost or something on those server for 1 week so they can fill them a little. The naming is bad for long run.
If the game last if you are an early west player playing on the central you will get less chance to play with people with your langage (if you care and it seems a lot care).
I’ll not move myself I’ll stay on Zinnervale because I don’t want to invest 130hours again to get started.
I think you’re vastly underestimating the number of players who haven’t even been able to create a char on the current servers. The new region will be far from dead. Lost Ark has gained more players in KR over the years, not the other way around.

If the game launched with this region nobody would say anything.
This is not a popular MOBA pals…doesn’t matter the name.
Anyways, what makes me worried is that now the hype train is here, but If the new region can’t fill even 5-6 servers, what will happen to that region when the hype is over and 50% of the playerbase leave?
I have the fear that for a lot of player the game will be to “hard” in the endgame and these jump off
Can somebody help me understand how while have the most respect for launch issues (i genuinely am the last person to complain). Why is there an overwhelming majority of people completely ok with people losing 100-150hrs of their life like it’s nothing ? i keep seeing “Give me a powepass and i’m ok”. No i’m not ok with a powerpass. And i don’t think a lot of other people will be either, you’re killing your game AGS/Smilegate and the most insulting part is that none of the usual “It’s an early access game” applies to this release beause it has already been out for YEARS, so what is the excuse here ? To me which makes me sad to say because i genuinely fell in love with the game but, This genuinely looks like nothing but AGS capitalizing on a quick translation of a popular title to english to juice the last piece of cash out of a format which simply wouldn’t have worked in eu/na in it’s normal format anyway.

Correct but equally why am i forced to relenquish any of my progress/experience so far to play on the intended region ? and are you suggesting i now tell all of my friends and future players (which are not from EUNE) to join the incorrect server and make the issue worse ? Further more if you think it’s technically infesable to create a transfer system in a short space of time with the resources smile and AGS have a joint unit then you’re dreaming.

Is there any chance for the 2nd EU region to begin as a duplicate of the first, that way players have a choice whether to continue on the first or the new one without losing anything.
Yes you will have many characters that won’t be used etc, but you can do a clean up after like a few months.
You have previously stated there is no server transfer feature available, fair enough, but this is a simple solution to that problem.
first of all, as far as i know the naming of EU Central will not Change! According to AGS we shoud have EU Central and EU West, so i dont rly see the Problem to say to your friends to play on Central (naming wise)
Secend of all, most Stemer form EU alredy playing on EU Central so u can say for Sure that EU Central will be the winner in the long run! If u don’t have Friends or ur Friends also New and u dont care about Stemer u prob. willing to move to EU West

tbh, it coud be a real problem depending on the Playerbase, but as long as the old Region Names dont change, i don’t rly see a problem ^^
The problem is the situation they put the player (if no other solutions are given).
For exemple you play Zinnervale, and you have 100h+ a founder pack friends etc BUT queue are a big problem for you. What’s the answer for this player? We made new server just start from scratch there?
But what will this player get? Complete Founder? What about the character? i doubt you get a lv50 on a fresh server.
They have to find solutions to help those players. We are talking about a company and customers.
They did not anticipate the player base? they had founders number.
They Did not know about EU? They had NEw WOrld experience
The region is limited? Smilegate provides them all the numbers with the server tools etc, so they knew.
They didn’t lock the biggest EU server? So people could play at the F2P release, they made a choice wich was bad for founder.
They didn’t close the signup waiting for Eu WEST? because they wanted to have bigger number or because people wanted to pay with friend again?
And the list goes on, we are talking about a company and a game with licence, we are talking about millions of dollars. You have people you pay to prevent problems, other to solve problems youd didn’t think of.
But you take responsabilities even more when we talk about an “old” game wich is working on 2 other region.
Here we are talking about bad decision about market and scaling, the people in charge of those matter failed.
Now it’s time to be less greedy and to offer all player real gift and help them.
This is 2022, people need to have an opinion and they need to voice it and they need to be heard. sigh
I mean they’ve shown they don’t care about the current players, which is why the new region is supposedly going to be completely empty. took our money for founders and other bonuses, whacked us into 8 hour queues, give a new region for everyone else except the people who spent money, and dont offer refunds.
Amazon literally do not care about customer service. If their actions are to be believed , everyone who paid for anything is just a cash cow to them,
The naming convention is not an issue for all i care the servers could be called spaghetti 1 and spaghetti 2 and i genuinely don’t think anybody would care. The point i’m making is either A players accept they got screwed stay on central, and get all of their friends to start on central which doesn’t help the current issue and results in around 100k people being left on servers that don’t speak their native language. OR accept some sub par powerpass trade off or worse still no transfer mechanic at all and lose their progress so far. I’m struggling to see how the customer/user isn’t at a loss in both scenario’s here.
The question is are smilegate/ags going to accept they messed up and dedicate resources specifically to fixing this and restore some faith that the playerbase have already lost in this mess.
Lets face it a representative from AGS passing on information third hand from the actual studio that’s developing the game and other than that have no real input or say in the decision making is crazy for a release this size and really does not bode well for future stability. I’ve been scrolling this comment section since the issues started and 99% of the dev responses are cookie cutter responses / plattitudes you could find on literally any forum that a community manager would be using to stem the tide. At no point has it looked like AGS actually understand what is going on inside smilegate let alone gave any influence over their decision making.
