When you change your IGN, does the previous one become available immediately?

Hello, im trying to find out the answer to this question.

I changed mains, but I really want my old IGN on my new main, so im wondering if I changed the old mains IGN to something random, can I then change my new mains IGN to the old on?

Example:
Old Main IGN: “Starshot”
New Main IGN: “Vocal”
Old Main IGN CHANGE: “Starshot” → “idkrandomignlol”
New main IGN CHANGE: “Vocal” → “Starshot”

Is this possible? or is there a waiting period?

Thank you very much for bringing up your current query to the table,

I do understand the intention to change the IGN of your old main in order to get the desire name freed up and use it on your new main char, but unluckily, as long as I’m aware of, there is a cool-down period for about 60 days when trying to reuse a name that was recently changed.

Update to Character Name Deletion

Greetings, heroes! We have an update to share on what happens to character names after a character is deleted. When a character that is Level 10 or lower is deleted, that character’s name will be available for reuse right away. If a character is Level or 11 or higher, when they are deleted their name will be recycled for reuse after a 60 day period passes. We hope this makes things a bit easier when it comes to naming your character in Arkesia!

this says when a character is deleted, not when their name is changed. Are you sure its the same thing for my situation?
