well, going by this and AGS being in the PST timezone and patch notes are always the day before the downtime in the early afternoon. So rough estimation but it will be right around then.
I just hope it includes improvements to the dead zone. Otherwise even with the new class/zone it’s gonna be diffuclt finding motivation to launch the game.
the “dead zone” wont ever change. It’s been there for now 3 regional releases. Just events for materials.
remember that your time is not the only one that exists in the world, in the EU they also have a time…
Yes, but AGS is based in the US. I don’t understand why almost no one in the FF community complains about 4am Live Letters or the timings of anything but everyone in the LA community complains about everything. Just like over in FFXIV, SquareEnix is a Japanese company so they operate on Japanese time and the rest of the world/playerbase just makes do and gets on with it. Meanwhile, over in LA land, “Europe is second class citizens!” Those same people would be saying “Haha, **** you NA” if the company was based in EU and NA got things at odd times.
Grow up and be patient. This playerbase is way too entitled and whiny

So far most of their official communications have happened between 30 minutes from now to 4 hours from now.

the difference is with FFXIV live letters you are given advance notice of when it will be including the start times - all AGS need to do is say Patch notes will be out at xx:xx time and specify which time zone.
for most people its more the fact that there is no clarity not that its at an “unusual” time
Here’s the more rational side of things:
Does AGS have EU servers? Yes
Is AGS an EU company? No
Sure, you may get notes and things later than you’d like but it’s still the same amount of time prior to your maintenance as it is for us. We all get notes at the same time, we all get maintenance at the same time and AGS is based out of one of the earlier US time zones so things like this will come later in the day.

They could find a time that better fits both regions . Also EU was unplayable for a month and haven’t received any kind of compensation, while when some servers on the US got queues (for like 2 days ) everyone started crying and they got insta-compensated .
There is a difference between being whinny and being constantly and blatantly get shit on comparing to the US .
Also , i couldn’t care less where AGS is based , they are publishing in EU as well as in the US , they should act accordingly and equally .

They aren’t going to do maintenance during US primetime.
If they did maintenance during US morning it would be EU primetime… so the maintenance time now makes the most sense. At worse EU players lose a few morning hours. Like 8-12

I have been waiting as well, but honestly I could care less for them to be released now or during the maintenance.

Sorry but i see that a bit different. When other publishers are mentioned here, I like to pick them up.
Square Enix or even Pearl Abyss manage to announce announcements with two to four days, at least with enough lead time.
Pearl Abyss for example announced their Winter Update that was released on 06.04. on 4.4 as Patch Notes.
With information like From when to When are the servers down. Which events will be finished.
There was even a separate news what new comes in the pearl store. For example the skin of the new class. With picture. Even if I personally don’t like BDO, I thought: Wow here you are well informed.
In contrast to AGS, who have to publish everything at the last minute.
Therefore, I can understand that some players are impatient, and ask where the news is.
I personally find it a pity that here some in the community, then bring out the joker that the EU community is whiny here. I can still remember when I wrote - that I also did not get the maintenance compensation package.
Someone also told me to keep the ball flat. Wait and see, and be happy that there is something for free. And what was the end of the song? There were problems with the sending to the players. And it was right to talk about it in the forum.
As Yoda would say: Amazon, Much to learn, you still have. But enough complaining now. I’m so looking forward to the content update tomorrow and the new class.
