They won’t do anything because most people are now RMT’ing. No one is using their shitty shop for gold. You get 10x the amount from RMT sites. Why the hell would anyone buy from the in game shop? Worst case scenario you get a 3 day ban, who cares?!? If they ban people, no one is gonna come back, and they know it.

Can’t buy gold from RMT when negative, and making a new account is way more expensive than just buying gold with royal crystals.

RMTer gets put into -600k Gold by AGS.
RMTer can’t do anything Gold Related. They can’t polish their weapon, buy accessories, and any accessories they sell from being at a higher item level are worth 0 Gold as they pay off debt.
RMTer needs another 600k Gold to upgrade, and has to pay $2000 for 1.2M which is twice as expensive.
RMTer gets put into -1.8M Gold by AGS (-600k - 1.2M).

They have a choice, work to pay that debt legitimately/Royal Crystals or make a new account and lose all progression necessary for harder content, eg: Skill Point Potions, Level 60, item levels they bought… Yeah making a new account won’t happen.
Negative Gold essentially means they are spending money to be put in debt, and have to spend double, triple, quadruple amounts for their RMT Gold each time… Do you really think that’s cheaper than Royal Crystals? Hahahaha
More than likely what will happen, is they will work to pay off their debt legitimately or buy Royal Crystals to pay it off the very first time they are put into negative. In it’s current state, they get a 3-day holiday and come back to do rested dailies…

You can’t buy gold if you are gold negative because you can’t pay AH/mail fees.
Repeat offenders are basically proof they aren’t putting people negative.
I did not even think of that, that’s even more reason to apply Negative Gold. They are forced to be legitimate.
600 000g currently costs $450 from bots and it’s 3-4 times cheaper than royal crystals, no wonder everyone buys from bots, so much ridiculous amount allows you to get the right gs very quickly.

I mean Roxx has said they temp ban for RMT (but nothing besides temp ban) and I’ve seen a few people say they got temp banned for RMT (but kept their gold) so I’m inclined to believe that does happen.

Currently $100 Royal Crystal will yield around 40K Gold. With RMT Gold, people are raising price for Blue crystal which incline Legit Whale to sale more Blue Crystal.
It’s a Win Win for AGS.
Legit player are starting to quit the game and only people who RMT is staying…
