i have my 2 alts at tier 2, 1000 ilevel and 1006 ilevel, from 800 ilevel to 1000 ilevel guardian it is very hard to finish 2 raids, they said they nerf it but it is a different story if your ilevel is same with the req. raid ilevel. if the guardian hit you 2 or 3 times your already dead, still they are over power nothing change, and with the abyssal tier 2 960 ilevel up only few people know the mech, its very hard to run because some people will always quit.
Learn mechanics jesus…
People like you are the cause for the nerfs.
If you took some time to learn the mechanics and maybe don’t complain at your first death.
We’d all be in a better place. But yah…here we are.
If they nerf the game too much. This will be TERA 2.0.
Which one you are having a hard time?
its not about the mech if you have same i level with the raid req and the boss hit your alts with 2 to 3 times your already dead if you use potion 5 times you can last up to 8mins to 10mins because some of the boss in raid so many hit and its hard to dodge, you will dodge the 1 attack and another coming.
you can say that because you have high ilevel main, i have my main 1365 it has no prob with tier 3 coz all item is good but in tier 1 and 2, its different story.
this game is punishing, you are NOT supposed to priorise dpsing, you need to dodge first (always your first priority is dodging everything), second priority is not dpsing either, second priority is fulfill mechanics (counters, stagger checks, destructions, etc) all of those reward you with dps windows, and they are always worth it.
if you are ignoring everything above this and dying its on you, you should not get hit regularly, if you are you need to pay attention.
There is a thing called positioning. If you are playing melee characters, NEVER EVER STAND IN THE FRONT. always try to stand in the side or back. Always try to use less Animation lock moves. everytime u use a skill always move around before u use the next one. I have gone through two alts and have no problems with Guardian raids or abyssal raids. Always keep your character moving. Only time you should go full burst mode is when the boss is staggered or countered. It is never a good time to do your combo move when the boss is up and running around. Those can get you killed and punished really hard. unless ur a gunlancer that’s a different story
when you run out of potions run back to camp to refill them
Nah…I do my daily mission with my alts with 0 problems.
On russia…where the content was not nerfed.
I managed to do all Guardian Raids solo up till tier 3 including first 2 at tier 3.
It was hard as hell…but doable.
And here with the content already nerfed…and they are planning for more nerfs…
You can’t do them ? c’mon
It’s not so much that they’re hard, it’s more likely that your random teammates aren’t pulling their weight. Best bet is to solo the guardians and see where you stand. If you can kill it quicker solo than with randoms, then there’s no point in grouping. If you’re killing them slower than in a group of four then it’s probably not just the other 3 players. The health scales based on group size. Also if you’re not enjoying guardian raids, just don’t do them.
Why are people so against self-improvement? It’s okay to suck so long as you try to improve. If you just give up and resort to getting carried, why bother playing the game at all?
You’re letting the boss hit you 2 and 3 times in a row?..
I mean yeah, you’re not supposed to do that lol.
How about you stop spamming skills at his face eating everything he throws at you head on, and try to read the situation?
T2 raids are easy? What are you on about?
so you have a T3 main, you most likely, at least killed Armored Nacrasena with the whole “fresh outta destruction bombs, no dodge roll” pug, and you are unable to grind low tier turtles?
Ye ppl say “learn mechs” while I spend today 35m clearing 2 tier2 raids on another fresh t2 alt
It looks all candy dandy when u get ppl in with higher ilvl, but lvling alts up like this is literally disgusting
Nerfed content only appeals to casual players.
Casual players usualy quit in a short amount of time.
Hardcore players that will usualy be in for the long haul…will quit because the content will be to easy…otherwise they would stay.
The content isn’t too hard.
it’s just an annoyance due to t1/t2 being hp sponges.
In t3 your fights take you 5-7m.
In t2 min ilvl takes you freakin 15min+
Now hf clearing that with 5alts or so, impossible.
They are just hp sponges because we already receieved a nerfed version of them.
They don’t do their one shot mechanics so often. They don’t teleport to other areas so often.
They have lower stats.
Resulting in making them so boring and “hp sponges” for people that can actually play the game.
It’s just T1 and T2 Guardians though. In T3 guardians, no one knows any gimmicks, facerolls and sometimes uses all the resurrects. But the guardian dies within 5-6 minutes.
People don’t seriously understand how fast T3 stuff is right now compared to running the guardians with alts, even with a relatively good group. People just say “git gud” but the fact is t1 and t2 guardians are unnecessarily long while having relatively new player in that range, so it just adds to the frustration and monotony
