Thank you for responding. I am, however, concerned that there was a sense that NA/EU would abuse a system that apparently isn’t being abused in KR/RU servers. Punishing an entire player base to combat ‘system abuse’ seems somewhat odd. If the materials are roster bound, how can this even be abused? They can’t be sold on the market; they can’t affect the economy in that way.
I do not understand why this change was necessary to prevent ‘abuse’. Again, KR/RU don’t have issues with things being roster-bound rather than single-character-bound, so why would NA/EU?
While this does make sense, it feels kind of bad when i have to throw away materials when i could send them on my alts after i leave a tier on my main. Plus even with the stronghold benefits, alts generate a lot less materials due to the island quests being once per roster.

we are explicitly asking for mats to be roster bound, roster bound mats don’t create any kind of damage as they can be used only by the same person on the alts. not having them at the moment means throwing away thousands of mats and invalidates the effort and time used to get them. moreover with the current situation of the golds you can’t even use the excuse that it’s a goldsink mechanism.

SG can make them linked, but not only to the character, but to the account, that they are not negotiable, nor transferable in the market, but between characters yes, I have a lot of material including the harmony stones that I need in other alters and even so I do not know can use, they are obsolete, it should also be noted that many classes are coming in the future, then there is the problem of p2f players, and how tedious it can be to upload a character from scratch, it should be noted that I have more than 600 hours and I have 5 alters and the last of them has cost me up to 600 for the issue I mentioned before.
No one asked about event mats, people are asking about mats in general that are roster wide, outside of the ones earned in the event. We have all mats character bound rather than roster
Thanks for the reply as always Roxx. That is the problem though. You say that materials from normal sources are tradable - Leapstones aren’t from chaos dungeons, they bottleneck players and thats why the leapstone prices are huge compared to the other stones. Might be worth raising with the team as it doesn’t sound intentional from your statement.
At the very least we need our Harmony Shards, etc to be Roster bound, especially for when the new classes release if we aren’t getting power passes to boost them up.
Once again, not actually listening to the complaints. The majority are not asking for you to unbind materials. We simply want them BOUND to ROSTER and not character. So far nothing more than the “appearance” of we are listening.
I think people are being disingenous here. Theyre acting as though they want to be able to trade materials they messed up and overfarmed but the reality is what you guys are REALLY angling for is to get things such as the following tradable:
Those specific events give large amount of materials because they are bound. To change that would require them to be nerfed. The only tradable materials are ones you get from dailies/maps for a reason.
A change like this with no nerf would be stupid for longevity of the game and make it completely unfair to the other regions.
