Yeah, repeating the whole levelling process would also suck for a lot of people. I collected the Mokokos while levelling so I have over 500 now - no way I’m doing that again. I also cleared all the side quests until Shushire, also something I don’t want to repeat.
I apologize in advance for mistakes, English isn’t my main language
I think main issue eu is being neglected is that we dont have any loud (in media community sense) voice. Immagine the storm if similar issues would happen with na and streamers with huge auditory (asmogod and others) shine a light on that? We as eu community should speak louder, spread to streamers, hell, maybe smilgate themselves, to get our fair share of thier game. We aren’t at fault that publisher has made huge mistakes that affect half or even more of game auditory.
Sure, at this moment theres no good solution, since problems escalated too far, but we deserve atleast appropriate mitigation of problems caused by publisher.
Okay, it isn’t technically possible to open whole new realm instantly, with a fingersnap. But why attempts on encouraging us to switch realm looks like joke and spit to the face. How possibily giving same extra founders, starters packs (not this joke of leftovers) can ruin things even more they are now? I can almost guarantee that if we get back founders/starters/drops we had on original servers (all of those we are entitled to, since they are here in my inventory already) and with some compensation similar to galatur’s (but i personaly would we preffered instead of 30day aura free powerpass for account with 50 char on euc server), probably close to half of current euc players would switch.
We as players can help you, ags, solve problems caused by you, but if we do, we expect treatment of equality atleast, not being treated like shit.
Very good point. EU has lots of little voices (us) but no big voices that I’m aware of.
The negative publicity that comes from streamers etc complaining about the game will make AGS act faster, but we need more of this to come from EU’s side.
There is one more thing I miss in here, when talking about too less server capacity in EU:
The game had prerelease packages. A company like Amazon should be able to count sales and they should know how many players have bought the prerelease package.
So what I really don´t understand is, how can it be, that there where already so much too few server for EU, during first 3 days early access?! That even more players are going to join, that did not buy the package, was sure.
I cannot imagine that the currunt issues were not expectable on basis of sales. So was this all calculated to save money or what?
Shame not one of the devs will pay attention to it. You’ll have a forum moderator reply sure… But the devs have 0 intention of rectifying any of the main issues people are screaming about here.
It’s a shame, they kind of have a soft cap of 6 days to fix this (Elden ring release) I know I’ll be leaving.
in my opinion, these fail launch companies should be fined by a high amount of money. government is regulating cars for climatic change and hundrets of thousands of players need to let their pc run for days/weeks just to be able to play.
I bet the majority of us never visit forums. I for one never do. Though i’m actually getting more enjoyment here than in game. Baffling concept of release you have here AGS.
@DoXLocK I hope not… but i’m afraid it’s true. we are their biggest player base yet 0 input… 0 answers for days.
Its like they have no fix and are just waiting for a natural decline in players… Surely not…? JOKE COMPANY
at first, sorry for my poor english.
the problem is, they cant fix the problem without hurt someone. they have had gone the wrong way. now they need to hope player move by themself, or move servers from eu central to eu west(if that is possible). people could not play with server from eu central anymore.(this way is just a idea of mine) there is no other way. the cluster is overloaded. even if they add more servers to eu central they cant fix it, but they could make the switch to eu west more interesting instead of hurt the people with the “compensation”. its better than nothing but so many people are pissed.
No need to apologise, i understand you just fine! (:
There’s ways that an entire server could be cloned. they could split EUW & EUC 50/50 solving the issue… Take the game down for 2-3 days, fix it and rerelease…
The issue being here is ROI… they’re refusing to invest more in to our servers because their statistical estimations estimate they’re going to lose more money through natural declination than they would gain through player retention (server & traffic communication improvement.).
My opinion and advise to anyone wanting to try this game is simply: DONT.
But this is an Amazing game! The Cutscene, the story, the gameplay, the music , the collection, the rapports , the zones / island… they are all great!!
But, you know what bottlenecking this amazing game? The publisher… with their limitation of servers.
A better advice would be… to “wait” and late comers or join EU West if the new players can’t wait … for those founder pack players who already made chars in (full) EU central servers … All I can say is good luck
The combat is great. That goes a long way. The cutscenes, visually are fantastic.
-Voice acting is awful (unless you change to Korean)
-Much of the stronghold system (dispatches, research, crafting) is mobile tedium.
-The controller ‘support’ is absolutely embarrassing.
-The collection system lost so much of its appeal when I found out about the two seeds in the Pridehome church: so many things are in cheap locations and dont reward intuitive exploration. Its basically find a guide which is not engaging
-The lifeskill energy is such an anti player mechanic.
-The lack of a proper naming system
-The ludicrously small guild sizes where alts count against the cap (I know it gets bigger over time but this is an MMORPG not a mobile game. It needs to start big)
-Not having an option to report a gil seller without typing 5 letters
It is a big game with great combat and some really cool use of camera angles
But it has a lot of poorly designed (often intentionally) mechanics that too many people give the game a pass for
It has so much potential because the base game is good. But I have zero faith it will get better
And this is exactly the reason I wouldn’t recommend it brother. I fell in love with the game during early access… I’ve never been so frustrated with a game & the developer. The game I love and would like to be my go-to game, is completely unplayable and for that reason I wont be recommending it. Its a truly sad state of affairs.
