Ultimately this is a MMO and its community of players will determine the player-experience. Generally, at least from my experience in playing various MMOs, the players in game #1 are the same players in game #2. The level of toxicity in the community is generally due to some game function. In Lost Ark, the topic of gatekeeping gets a ton of attention.
Lost Ark (by game design) promotes gatekeeping. If people check out how the lobby function works, they will realize that it’s designed around the host having the ability to make a subjective decision based on the player character page.
But OP takes that toxicity to the next level by crapping on mokoko’s or casuals outside of the game. That’s the part that I don’t understand when people are legitimately trying. I mean let them play. If he wants to participate in delivering a positive experience for new/casual players, then great. If he doesn’t want to partake and only associate with veteran players with high roster, then great.

I be starting seeing full dps g5/6 brel lately, mainly due to the upper statement but also cause 95% of sups are absolute trash. Wont be long before you start begging those 1460 going to be 1500 to carry your ass

umm my alts are juiced and don’t get gatekept. Not my fault people wanted to save gold and park at 1460. IF you want to save gold by early parking (even though you earn way less gold over a year vs going to 1490 for brel gear transfer stuff), then yea you’re gonna get gatekept since you spent less gold on an alt than others.

the craziest issue on LA is people who said that parking alts at 1460 is ideal… If you’re playing this game for more than 6 months that’s completely false. Only reason to park at 1460 is if you don’t have the time to do brel/you don’t want to commit that character/don’t enjoy playing it as much/waiting for an unreleased class for your main 6
Even casual players in my guild are pushing alts to 1490 knowing that it pays back in the long run. People care too much about upfront gold and overhoning their mains its hilarious. Wow my main is 1560+ but i have 5 1460 alts yay im so good. Yea, we’ll get to 1560 on bound materials in a few months and have more gold due to better alts
You are missing the complete point. It’s about new players who would like to go for raids but get gatekept because of bozos like you. Why would you do Argos or valtan with only 1500+ people if you could help a few lower people with almost same effort by just having 4-5 high lvl players in the raid and some lower? I think you’re missing the point. Lower ilvl =/= new player. If people see mokoko sign we know it’s a new player. Low ilvl = people who choose to park those alts there. New players don’t join title reclear parties or some other gatekeep reclear party title

People with roster 140 or lower are all considered as newer players and doesn’t the mokoko sign vanish with ilvl 1430 or something? If every player would think like you the game would already been dead. Never seen anybody more selfish like you, disgusting. Also who says that a 1500 ilvl player plays better than a 1460? How often did I see raid parties wipe because of people thinking only ilvl matters? It’s bullshit. Not everybody has 10 million gold and 24 hours a day to get every single char on 1500+ ilvl. Me neither and I don’t even want to. You are getting burned out not me. I have 1460 chars myself and never let people down in any raid so far.
So what’s the point of this post tho ? Are you saying normal people with ilvl doing raid don’t deserve to have support ? Where in the ilvl not having support will make it 10 times harder to do anything, if anyone also has this attitude less and less people will be able to clear raids, and even less resources to reach to your “prefer” ilvl. 1460 parker are people with no brain. If you have bound mats you can easily hone them up since your only cost is cheap stone and gold (which only end up being 50k at most to hone to 1490).

i plawy with my support with ilvl players if i can find them, trying to help out those that need it, not join 1500 that do valtan and dont start without supp, im more afraid of being jailed by them.
