2 responses 3 hours apart when I haven’t said anything, is just weird… Second reply you act like I’ve been arguing… “I just told you what you could spend the gold on…”, what kind of drugs are you on or supposed to be on that you’re not?
There is no point once you’re at the point that most of these people are at… nearly maxed out character(s) with millions of spare gold and you’re talking about them needing level 10 gems, and highly exaggerate the price of legendary books, even if it was that high, they’d already have them. I’m not talking about the timmies who are just starting trying to build up gold to max out their character, I’m talking about chads who have 2 rosters full of 1490 characters and 2 million gold sitting there, they don’t really have anything to spend the gold on except frivolous items and yet they continue that grind for even more gold.
Quality Upgrades and building new characters. I don’t really play the market that much, but I slowly work towards better Gems for my characters. It’s kind of a simple life
Welcome to every MMORPG ever where you have to grind in some kind of way to progress.
Anyways to the op. I want gold so I can make all my characters 5x3 and gold for some good skins and if you have a lot of gold you can try to push your weapon quality higher as well for example.
I do not sell busses however. I just play with my 6 characters and do all legion raids possible on all of them. (make sure you make characters where you are having fun playing them)
It all depends on when they got to their gear progression. Remember that streamer that paid upwards of $20k+ to get 1 1450+ he is more frivolous with his spending though he bought a Demon Beast Bone for 100k+ GOLD LOL…
Unlike players out here claiming there is “inflation” the value of honing decreases IRL value. So getting to 1400 IRL cash back in Argos was super expensive now it is technically free. The value however hovers off into the next “end-game”. That is the reason why we have content drips.
The ones that claim there is “inflation” is more likely honing, and upgrading at the wrong time of the year. BTW I’m a real F2P/Budget and I got 1 1512 and 5 1490 (higher now since Brelshaza gear, it has like 3.3, 4.16 lol). I never once paid “300k” for my ONE 5/3 LOL. I even made a guide to make gold
As long as they are not hurting anyone and enjoying themselves why not? It is their money use it when they need / want it.
I think IF they are actually bussing non-stop and not whaling or RMT. It is more likely the same given scenario as those that spent THOUSANDS of dollars.
More likely hierarchy? getting into the “social” norm “everyone is 1490 I should be too”, ego flex, or streamer/influencer flex. Different reasons really.
Do you ever heard about resonnance potions ? Bro u should be playing this game or another one instead of thinking about what people do or might have done, spent or might have spent.
This is the last time i’m answering to you know, have a nice day, hope you’ll be someday happy with what u have and stop watching in other people plates wishing u could have that.
If you still invest time playing Lost Ark the only true goal you have available is farm gold. Behind every single activity you use to progress along this extremely linear path you need gold.
Accessories will never drop for you to self-gear, you must buy (gold)
Honing every single click is weighed in gold. Even if you do nothing but farm every day for materials the act of clicking the button itself is still a gold sink.
Need new engravings because you talked yourself into starting a new alt? Gold.
Want Gems, Consumables, Blue Crystals, Food, etc… Gold.
Out of Silver? Convert Gold!
So you either buy gold from AGS (RC → BCs or Skins → Market) or you farm gold.
You think you have enough gold, then it’s gone. So you farm it back again, then it’s gone again.
It cost me 78k just clicking the honing button on my first Brel piece with all saved up and bound materials. The weapon will be bank breaking lol.
This is actually not true. It just takes a long time to get a few pieces. I made a couple of my alts from accessories drop. At least 2-3 pieces.
The span of 1415 to 1540 getting Relics is how progression works in this game. You either compliment your character and buy and spend real cash. Or buy with time.
I’ve gone months not even getting an accessory drop that anyone would want, let alone ever getting a perfect drop that fits my needs exactly.
I honestly would be interested to see your setups on those alts that built from drops only, I’ve been able to come close to 4x3 with legendary gear (since it’s guaranteed class) without buying from a lucky drop but I am pretty sure your odds of getting struck by lightening on a Tuesday moments after winning the lotto would be higher than self-gearing anything beyond that.
The Catch-22 is if you wait around for the drops, you’ll be gatekept from getting the drops for not having the drops in the first place
To be honest the only ones I got good pieces to are on my Wardancer. 2 - 3 pieces of it to make my build. I got at least one per character that I use except Shadowhunter and my new Gunlancer.
The rest came in late and my Shadowhunter never hit anything good. Good thing PS is super cheap to transition into. But yes I got good accessories to drop but sometimes it came into late when I already cut my stone.
I don’t know honestly I rarely get gatekeep I get denied sometimes but that is natural. I don’t spend a “full day” looking for a group because I was 4/3. Even on G1-G2 Brelshaza, it is probably my roster level and maybe I played with them before.
BTW I was 4/3 1/1 before Kakul is released and the only 5/3 I had was my Wardancer because I was lucky. For the rest, I had some pieces and start working on 5/3.
