Well, the hard part of f2p was at the begin, to get ur main into 1370.
Then at 1385, everything became easy.
Getting ur alts into t3
Now f2p, is playing 1-2 h a day, doing the dailys on main and alt, and quit until next day.
A lil more time on reset day for abyss things…but in general…as a f2p player…you have nothing to do in game once u done ur dailys.
People like to think that being F2P and getting high gearscore does in fact mean their peepee bigger. Being cheap/poor in life isn’t a bennefit, and neither is in game. In games like this with shady monetization practices, it’s more like playing a harder difficulty for gearing up, but doesn’t actually make them better players. I buy whatever I want to buy in a game, but I refuse to throw money away on upgrade mats.

Im f2p btw… besides platinum founders pack, vanquisher starter pack, crystaline aura, super premium ark pass and around 2000€ to get a good start.

Difficult? Thats how the game is meant to be. Its called normal difficulty.
P2w is the super easy baby mode.
Get +20 weapon in 1 day, 1490 ilvl in 1 day.
One shot all the current content, ignore most of the game mechanics.
You finish the game in 1 day. Easy baby mode.
I don’t think being cheap/poor is a choice that anyone could make… except when they are already rich.
It does, in some aspects… they have higher efficiency, requires more knowledge, requires more time. But being a sweater isn’t something anyone should be proud of.

Really good quote. I personnally don’t call myself f2p (even tho I never bought any golds) because yeah you are right if you spend money on the game you’re not f2p period, if buy skins, pheons and conveniance with $, you could have buy it with golds, impacting directly your vertical progression. Even if you don’t buy for honing, you still “p2w” at the end. Oh surely you would not have waste your golds into conveniance if you were f2p, but that’s what f2p means. At the end of the day, you are paying the game by investing more time than other into playing it, that’s why we don’t care about f2p or p2w.
However as you said, f2p basically are leeching from paying player that’s the model and everything linked to that. It’s totally fine to be full f2p players if you enjoy the game as it is. It’s start being less fine when you complain and give criticism about how you would change X or Y.
The last time I spent money on the game was 3 weeks ago so I’ve been F2P btw for 3 weeks now and I’m gonna remain F2P btw until the next time I swipe.
