Lol twice i look too much at the boss what can be done it confuses man
He started playing on the day of the reset lol poor thing he’s going crazy
You should anyway type fail if you failed after the mechanic to prepare for the stagger or incoming damage.
Needless? No. If someone is consistently failing in, for example, an “exp-reclear” group then they should be kicked lol.
They might as well be trolling. There is 0 reason to fail typing check. It’s the easiest shit in the game.
Everyone is toxic without it if it is it does not seem like people will be able to clean Gate 3
Because gamers need their safezone, like how they didn’t approve dps meter
I said this in guild last night, I would actually go as far as to say it’s harder for people who can touch type than those that can’t.
When you touch type you don’t have to think about what letter you are hitting, you just hit the right one to make the words in your head. This mechanic is asking you to hit specific random keys, something which is the exact opposite of how touch typing works.
There’s a number of issues with this mechanic, those with dyslexia have no chance. Not sure how it works for left handers either who would not be using WASD input normally, usually they use the numpad i think.
Fortunately as far as i can tell this mechanic doesn’t appear any more in legion raids and will most likely be left to die in this one raid.
huh, but it is. I also train shooting skill outside a range. One would need to be really stupid to not understand there is only one you. One life.
You want to not suck, you train. You want to suck, don’t drag others into your misery. It’s simple as that.
musce memory has nothing to do with words, or typing, or anything. That one you may already have. This one you don’t. However the very same process works with every activity that consists of simple stimuli - simple response.
It’s a very simple process your finger reacts to what you see without having thining about it. It’s strictly mechanical process. And it works for Vykas typing too.
If anyone has a problem, they train. It’s very simple, very slow, it doesn’t require that much time. But eventually EVERYONE can just look at letters, press the buttons correctly and keep talking during that on discord.
I really miss the old times when you could call someone out for fucking up and it would not be considered “toxic”
Y’all should be forced to listen to 2009 MW2 xbox lobbies for half an hour, it would really open your eyes on what is toxic
Anyone who answered to the topic with “because it creates toxicity” don’t realize that what they’re doing is the toxicity in this case. It’s called fostering “Toxic positivity” where instead of focusing on fixing the problem, you don’t and ignore the problem to the best of your extend in an attempt to minimize the chances that someone will get upset because of it. This obviously creates even more hostility while the problem remains as it can’t be addressed properly. Usually these naive people also try to say that “well you can talk about it”, but that was never an option that was closed out. All that happens without indicators like this is that everyone gets even more upset/frustrated when the amount of chaos increases and nobody really knows what’s going on, without any changes to the problem or the event itself
All these players are basing these opinions upon the fear of being called out and feeling insecure, which nobody self-confident could really understand as just honing the mistake is what any normal player would do and then others would simply tell them how it’s done and problem would be solved ![]()
Anyone who answered the topic with “it’s not toxic” is the first person to endlessly rip players in chat for “being bad.” They are the ones that create groups “1 fail and you’re kicked.” When they fail something, the cat jumped on their keyboard.
Because babies like you are just looking for someone to blame and grief the entire run. Just do the content…
Because it doesnt matter who pressed 1 button wrong. It only matters to know if somebody did it wrong and you get this information after the mech.
Its only need just one miss. It happens.
You really want to be toxic on that 1 guy, arent you?
This should be a forum-wide announcement tbh
Its not needed since 1 person can be a total failure at it and its not a wipe. You need multiple people to be failing at it to wipe the raid.
This should be obvious tbh. There were similar issues in other games that I’ve played like OW, but so far LA’s playerbase has been the most hostile one I’ve ever seen with it’s toxic positivity. Improving stats and mechanics and gameplay transparency is always met with hostile toxicity no matter how useful the improvements would be, and even when players use 3rd party tools to get these stats they are pointed at with a gun to not do so, no matter how innocent said tools would be (god I hope we get screen capture -based tools soon).
Whenever someone makes an objective guide on class strengths they get malded and spat at, while useless random “fun” tier lists that make no sense get praised no matter how they don’t really matter at all. Especially when they don’t even call out classes that are generally considered boring and classes that are generally found extremely fun to play just to avoid class build ups. It’s just that everyone is so pressured to do this, hence why it was so hard to find good guides before the release of LA
The whole thing is just a mess. Why can’t we have nice things?
Western culture and nice things just dont exist in the same sentence.
I wouldn’t consider them mutually exclusive, but it has been very tiring since the mid 2010’s for sure
It’s not just OW, pretty much every game has this problem nowadays tbh.
People refuse to self-improve, and every time you point out their mistakes they will lash out at you instead of actually trying to solve the issue.
This whole thread, and the “discussions” about having an actual DPS meter in lost ark is just a cherry on the top.
Most people don’t give a shit about their performance, and in their heads it’s perfectly OK to be a dead weight, as long as nobody knows. Ironically enough, THAT is not toxic to them.
