With events under T3 burning your account-wide chance for loot failing, with no chance for a retry, why bother?. Ghost ships under T3 fail due to 1 or 3 players showing up, so you are done for the week. Chaos gates fail with low population, and your account is done for the day. Why even bother to try?

I’m curious where all the players saying most players still in T1/T2. They should come out and help Darlgon do some pre-T3 content.
My suggestion is to just get to T3 asap as that’s where most of the ‘content’ starts. Asap as in at your own pace of course. No rush.
events in t1/t2 being impossible due to scarcity of t1/t2 players. I’m sure it’s true for ghost ships and world bosses but certainly not for chaos gates since t1/t2 chaos gates are still very profitable.
Oh then i aggree. I ran into that on my glave alt, noone was doing the turtle guardian raid. I got so frustrated waiting, I went back on my main deathblade and started running free carries lol.
Now due to those exact problems, im carrying my guildies through it all. (They just started t1/t2 stuff)
No idea what the dude above me is talking about, unless he means no lifers who have no pity on those who didnt race to 1370 not being allowed to procreate.
For those who seriously reply, the game is coded to block you from doing the event when you go in. If you fail, you are still done for the day/week. The code should be the event is unavailable only after you loot the boss chest or win the event. The current process makes it impossible for newer players to learn the mechanics of those events until they get to T3. Then they are looked down on, for “not knowing the mechanics”.
I was in at least two Chaos Gates that failed, because they were the overflow and only had 10 people in them. Both events timed out before we beat the final boss.
This is actually very concerning.
It means they are not many new players and only players quitting because of lots of reasons. It’s definitely not good.
Majority of new players are bots too.
I think you hit on the reason why there isnt many new players. Bots are making early content no fun to play. The immediate fix would be a T3 powerpass for new players which i think would serve well time wise with the next update anyway. The real fix is actually doing something about the bots and not half baked fixes that dont work.
Honestly speaking, if I am a new player today seeing full load of bots running the map instead of real players. I would instantly quit and uninstall. But i am 1k hrs in so I am still playing.

honestly t1 and t2, as well as 1302-1370 is a long deadzone.
how does AGS and SG expect any casual new player to pass through this zone and not quit before reaching 1370?
also makes it so guildies/friends cant carry their guildies/friends. its fucking horrible. abyss shouldnt be locked either unless you loot the chest and even then still no reason to gate it if someone wants to do for fun
My advice is:
Do not join a Ghost Ship unless you see a decent number of players waiting (Look for Yellow channel if there is one, or go to channel 1) Just because the Ghost ship is available, it doesn’t mean that you have to join it right away.
The same applies to Chaos gates.
It would be great, if the player scaling was based on how many people are present.
Not just for Chaos Gate and Ghost Ship. But also for Islands.
Could solve a lot of these issues.
