Why even play the game?

Cant buy that tho

If you compare that to a optional Max cape grind (which btw these seeds are as well), you must be delusional. That’s light years between.

Also about the current active playerbase… the biggest part of them plays Ironman: You can’t buy gold, you can’t trade with other players, you can’t loot others, nothing. You play by yourself, everything you want to have you need to collect it on your OWN.

You’re a self-sufficient account, if you even know what that means.
But there, a more detailed explanation for you:

Some people just don’t learn it. After a few months you will see people saying: “wtf the player count declined by 80%!!!111 game is dead!!!111”. It’s always the same shit. People don’t know anything about the game and think it will kill every other game in the genre.

Right, and many people myself included would argue that ironman isnt an mmo , youve lost all mmo aspects the second you chose ironman , an option within tbe game yea? So do you want to go play an ironman repeating the same daynting tasks for thousands of hours , or play an mmo where money has been king for the past 10 years , you sound like everyone else who fomos , its a you problem

As always, people set their expectations to the moon and these cringe big creators play their part because they get payed a bag to make the game look this: “OH MY GOD DUUUUUUDE, THIS GAME IS AMAZING, EVERYTHING ELSE IS CHALKED.”

6 months later: “Yeah idk man, this game doesn’t have the vibes bro, I don’t like it.”

They do this with every single game. They grab the bag, influence their viewers into paying for the product and then jump to the next bag.

And viewers who chase the hype with their big content creators are like: “Oh my god, this game is dead LOL who still plays that garbage?”

Because people who hop from game to game on a weekly basis left to play something else… who cares if the game now has a core playerbase… that’s how they think.

You haven’t even played both games, how can you compare them then?
Proof me wrong.

Well if you played both, how does the RS community like to say…
No pic no proof?

Btw, I didn’t get gatekept, I just think you make absolute BS takes, your last post literally proves my point since I obviously triggered you.

Yeah, sorry I hurt your feelings. Have a nice day man.

You don’t have to FOMO in this game either though, relax and take your time.

Sure sucks to see your gold nerfed in a certain stage of the game and I agree on that, but the game will not run away.

What sucks more is that you push people to stages for free and they miss out on experience which then affects harder content in the game, hence why people are also picky when it comes to partyfinder.

Obviously you can skip this with joining a guild, I highly suggest to do that.

xD
Yup Lost Ark doesn’t have energy system in it,
Lost Ark doesn’t have idle crafting systems.
Lost ark doesn’t have mobile stronghold system with dispatch system build into that.
Lost Ark doesn’t have mobile affection system with npcs.

All of the things mentioned above D4 has… right ? Right … ?

its an ARPG like as one put it for LOA players think Chaos dungeons everyday and only chaos dungeons.

I find that boring as fuck.

Skip the dailies if I don’t feel like it. Focus resources on 1, or 2 chars and occasionally do raids.
It works well as a side game that I sometimes play until they release a new raid.

well if they have 10minutes a day to play chaos dungeons are a perfect way to spend those 10minutes

Thats still the case.

Quit crying.

Lost Ark dont have a queue time atm… I take the Easy W

It actually is, because you can pretty much do all the content when you reached certain levels, Max Cape at best is a cosmetic cape with a little QoL on it that makes it convenient.

Things that make me want to quit:

  • NA west inflation and BC cost.
  • Being behind and not knowing fights and no learning parties.
  • Not knowing anyone, having no communities or streamers to hang out with. Dead guilds, etc…
  • Spending 1 week worth of materials on honing and making zero progress.
  • Boss mechanics that just don’t seem fun or are simply not intuitive. I haven’t done Vykas yes (I saw a guide a looong time ago,) but watching people fight her I have no idea how they know certain things.

Reasons to play:

  • Progress matters more than other games and isn’t reset as much.
  • Combat that feels amazing (when you’re not being knocked over constantly.)
  • Satisfaction of completing a build for a character you enjoy.
  • Having characters that feel like your character. Difficult to elaborate on this.
  • Casual content you can just jump into…so long as you rely on rested.

Ultimately, after getting my artist to 1470 I’m at another crossroads where I need to decide if sticking around for raids is what I want to do, or to move back to WoW. ~_~

I guess the unbalance in early game, is because they tried to simulate the difficulty of PoE. It’s pretty much the same when you start, where a couple of hits can get you killed really fast.

I think I get you what you mean. In terms of skill animations, a lot of them are just “cast in place” and don’t have a positional effect like in Lost Ark where you have to consider in your rotation where your next skill will reposition yourself.
PoE has the same “problem” where you choose a movement skill and everything else is “cast in place”.

It’s pretty chill as long as you don’t try to be in the top :man_shrugging:
