Why is getting trusted status a nightmare with "new" account?

Can we just remove this, this is a nightmare, I know it’s a minority of players that haven’t really used steam before, but still. My account is 2 months old, 32 days ago I added 5€ to my steam wallet, enabled steam guard mobile and patiently waited 30 days for my account to get trusted. I got trusted on steam in a week or 2, but after 32 days still can’t use AH in lost ark, as a 1420 item level I can’t play the game, I can’t buy accessories, my engravings are bad. So I decided to contact support and this is what I got. So apparently I need to have a purchase that was placed over 90 days on steam? This is ridiculous. I am not waiting 60 more days so I can finally play the game, can we somehow fix this sh*tshow?

Normally after you get the trusted status It is a matter of time for you to be able to use the market I encourage you to share your ideas on the Game Feedback sice over the support we can not manually change the status.

The problem is I had trading enabled from 22/02. until I posted this thread (that is like 10 hours of time), someone recommended to try reattaching steam guard mobile it might work, looks like now I can’t trade again until 10/03. What a great gaming experience.

Hey @chaudz I uderstand this is frustrating but I would suggest to only wait to for the market in game is enable since re enable the steam guard can reset the status.
I can confirm that your account have the requirementes ready and its only a matter of time for you to be able to trade in game.

all you have to do is spend money to buy royal crystal then buy item from lost ark store

are you sure? after buying royal crystals my account would no longer be restricted? can someone confirm?

I can not confirm that this option will allow you to get the status you are looking for on our servers.
There is a code of conduct that must be follow: FAQ - Lost Ark Forums and the players can be penalized by the moderation team.
If the accounts sold are steam accounts we can not manage them over the amazon services even though players can be reported in game for any unusual activity or by this link Report a Player or Guild - Support | Amazon Games.

thank you for the reply @Achieveme , shouldn’t people like this be punished? they are publicly encouraging other people to violate the terms of service, leading them to getting banned. Support section was supposed to help people, not telling them to breach TOS and try to get them banned, can I report these types of players anywhere?

update regarding trusted status: I was told by the amazon support lead that it is indeed necessary to spend money in game, you can’t get trusted without spending money anymore

but that’s not working, I did all required steps from the first option from the post over 75 days ago, I know you will say “we cannot give you estimated time about how long it does take…” but at this point official information is false and needs to be updated. I should have told that to the them in the conversation, damn.

I have shared the official information that we have related to this situation and as you can check there are 2 viable ways to obtain the status

" The first option is for new players to enable the Steam Guard mobile authenticator, and have a Steam profile that’s no longer a ‘Limited User’ account and is Steam Trusted on the platform. This is a path that won’t require making any Lost Ark purchases.

Alternatively, new players can also receive trusted status by making any purchase in Lost Ark through either Steam or Amazon. "
