Why is the Bard's instrument a flute?

Can someone please explain why my Bard uses a flute when she literally has a HARP? I am so confused lol.

Have you heard bards playing their harp in battle? Just glad they can at least play the flute well.

Technically they’re panpipes, the Assassins use flutes.
