Why is there no event to help people push to 1415 for valtan?

It hurts no one yes. But I implied nothing about 3 more months. Let me quote it for you…

We probably approaching the amount they want to meet the May release, so it could make sense that we are not seeing generous resources flowing in.

I’m not sure why you are so intent on making sure 95% of the player base can’t do new content when it releases. Is it not better for the game to have a large number of people able to do entry level content. Should it not be the goal of the game to close the gap between this version and the Korean version, If they ever want to get there they will need to help people push through content. Or is it your goal to progress at the same rate as Korea (which they complained was too fast) and never catch up.

I’m intent on nothing. In a perfect world everyone can do it, and I’m fine with that. Even if no one can do it, it technically doesn’t hurt anyone. Just hurts players mentally because of fomo. We can give our inputs, but it’s not exactly my place or your place to decide how many players should be able to participate on content release. Each game is different. It’s unreasonable to use other game, especially with different cadences, as a guideline.

200% agree with this. I believe entry level content for this game should be Valtan NM. I also highly push for them to get players in there on many threads, both new and current players. After that point would be more a upwards climb with a pyramid scheme progression and release shouldn’t be as heavily dictated by player progression.

And I agree that we should speed up and not continue to delay content more than we already have. But as I stated, if they believe we already have ‘enough’ players at that point, it’s not unreasonable that they are not throwing too many resources at us.

If they give a lot of greater honor leapstones it’ll just add a large gap of ilvl between casual and hardcore.
Everyday hardcore players are getting 30-40+ greater honors before even weekly sources kicks in.

Thanks to current events after reset, I could push from 1400 to 1400,83 and wasted thousands of gold in the process. Yeeeey

If “release shouldn’t be as heavily dictated by player progression” then what shoud it be dictated by? They can not just choose a random number right?

because they dont care is that simple ive been struggleing for fat leapstones above 1400 not gold cus i play the market a bit in the start whent things use to worth something.

Not as ‘heavily.’ Let’s say for Valtan normal we want 50% of active players on release because it’s core content of the game. What’s the point if most players cannot get to this starting line in a reasonable time. But after that point… it’s still just legions raids. So maybe Vykas, would have 30%, Kakul 20%, Brelshaza 10%. etc… Basically not expect a consistent 50% across the board for delays WILL get longer and longer. And I guarantee you that our accelerated catch up pace would become even slower than KR normal pace. Here are some reasons:

Some players like to park at certain gear score especially when honing gets more difficult. Even now there would be some players stubborn staying in 1340 until honing buff.
Some players don’t even plan to touch higher tier content. Even in KR they try to bribe players to do Brelshaza hard with pet rewards because not much people even care to attempt it.
Some players will focus on getting several alts to legion raids.
New players will also join and shift the average players who are ready for new content backwards.
Some players be dancing in punika all the time.

That’s why this game appeals to casuals and hardcore player. But if you measure content release pace expecting that everyone would try to push end game day one… heh

then you should be able to get those from mari shops

you can also get from pvp, una and bloodstones

if you think your progression pace needs to be the same as when you are in t2 or just slightly slower then you are delusional

if youre not able to do things efficiently then THATS ON YOU

with average rng i’d agree but not everyone has average rng and before people complain about how unlucky they are cause they pittied a few items, no ur most likely still average or above average,

i have 1300 hours on steam, played since day 1 (founder), never missed weeklys or dailies, i have the max amount of alts a f2p can have (5) all at 1340 for more gold/materials which i funnel to my main, with all the gold i generate each week i buy greater leapstones for more honing attempts to push 1415 and i’m still only 1400 which means i have to get 2 items from 12 to 17 to get 1415 which is ALOT!

destruction/guardian stones aren’t an issue but for someone with bad rng the greater leapstones are huge issue, i have a total of 430 fails which is literally more than a person in my guilld with already 2 characters at 1415…

I have mats but not enough gold to hone and fail them over and over. I could sell non bound mats for gold, but then I have gold and not enough mats. The bot problem, at least on NA west is making it all much worse
