Dear AGS,
why on gods earth are you unable to provision servers, sufficient to handle a closed group of players? You close down servers for char creation, which means, you know exactly how many players are on that servers.
Why is it so impossible for you, to provision server capacity to handle that number of players?
I am position 5000 in queue… WTF.
Really, go and hire someone, who can plan and roll out server architectures, which are fit for purpose. You are Amazon. You have AWS. You sell people the stuff you would so desperately need at the moment.
Eat your own dogfood. This is really incompetency at very high level.
I am a frustrated player on day 5 after purchasing a founder pack. And i am not frustrated for things going sideways. That happens. I am frustrated because you are not able to do the very foundations of application provisioning although you are one of the biggest cloud compute providers in the world. Just sad and ridiculous.
