because i dont want to sell my books cheap… i want the maximun profit for each and every single one of them so I can wait ultil that stupid frog is removed and sell for the maximum price possible
Like everyone else will do. My prediction:
Frog dissapears → everyone opens chests and market will be flooded with artistengraving. → every dude with alot of gold will buy cheap artist engraving cause the ppl undercut each other like crazy. → everyone without alot to spend will wait “till they get cheaper” and we will have alot of artist without class lvl 3 for weeks. The demand will never outweight the supply. Cause everyone is holding pouches for artist.
Dunno is it good? Is it bad? I can’t decide. I’m just hoping that on artist release some class engravings will get super cheap for my future roster plans 
Tl;Dr artist engraving will never be expensiv.

Engraving chest ALWAYS update to the new version, it has been like that when Glavier, Destroyer, Arcanist, Reaper, Summoner were leased.
There is NO reason as of why it wouldnt be upodate with Artists.
Roxx stated already that they will contain the Artist books

I dno, I have class engraving pouches from before I quit 8ish months ago that could give me summoner engravings.
If I can’t get Artist ones, it’s rigged and I will be very cross.
The chests will indeed be updated to contain Artist engravings

Even IF the boxes were not updated to contain Artist engravings, it’s still the worst possible time to sell them. Which means if you don’t need gold (like yours truly), why would you sell? And 1 type of pouch takes less space in bags than 50 different engraving books.

My old engraving chest (before Summoner and before Reaper) can be stacked with new engraving chest and all have both 2 last classes inclusive.
Same for green, blue and purple chest. I remember I sold 20 green and blue books for Reaper at the release day.
If you could select only Artist Books from the stockpile of chests then maybe. Considering it’s an RNG roll it’s more likely there will be a short burst of a couple Artist books on release when everyone opens chests then the price will skyrocket as we all wait for the books to get farmed and put on the market.
Artist Books will be like any new class books, extremely overpriced for months to come.
Does that count the selecting leg chest that we can buy with golden token we get from random leg chest, at the frog ?

For some reason I cannot fathom, most epic books cost less than their blue counterparts. Until that shit gets sorted out, I’m not opening them.
Like, it literally makes no sense. Either you go for epic/leggo or you go for 0, there’s no point in sticking to blues.
But that’s the case, at least on my server.
It’s because there are less sources of uncommon/rare books, where every single T3 event gives you Epic books (oreha, argos, legion raids, etc)

They cost less because they are not breaking points for Engravings:
Greens are cheap because they are the first step, and only give 3 nodes.
Blues are expensive because they give 6 nodes total, which is Level 1 on the desired Engraving.
Purples are cheap because they “only” give 3 extra nodes, which is not enough for a Level 2.
Yellows are expensive because they give Level 2 on the desired engraving and only 3 diamonds left for a Level 3, which is supplemented by an accessory.

blues are more expansive because you actually need to farm activities to get them, unlike this garbage that drops when someone sneez
Nice theorycrafting but it’s totally irrelevant. Tradable green and blue books are rare AF - they mostly drop from lowest tier guardians nobody is doing anymore. Greens are cheaper due to multiple source of BOUND packs, so most people don’t need them anymore.
On the other hand you can get epic engraving books out of pretty much every t3 activity resulting in higher supply than demand = low prices.
It’s all about supply and demand lol.
It’s honestly easier to start a new character and run it up to Luterra for books from a couple quest chains than it is to farm them any other possible way lol
