This was in Valtan, can’t even see detail of the character. It’s just an indistinct gray blob that is hard to see without the outline.

They aren’t going to give you an answer, or they will, it just won’t be the one you’ll expect.
There was an outcry about these changes back in March, people reacted, just like they’re reacting now, and when we finally got a response, we said it didn’t make any sense and that they were lying saying it was for PvP reasons.
Back in March, we were calling them liars. We got our threads nuked, multiple people got either perma banned off the forums, or temp banned (I was temp banned) and that basically scared everyone from talking about it.
And here we are, going through the same thing again. But now, it’s only amplified because of the recent pheon incident. Everyone saw them lie to a large portion of the community, and people are tired of their lies and excuses.
Would we love a response? Yes. Would we love for them to do the right thing and give us the option to pick which form we want? Yes. But, as they’ve demonstrated time and time again, they’re only concerned about our wallets, and they will give us what we they think is best for us, options be damned.

You answered the question yourself. It doesn’t matter if most NPCs are white, black, brown or yellow in the context of the LOA world. Hence AGS/SG darkening the skin tone of a few NPCs so the world looks more diverse from a player’s point of view to make the game not look like the billionth RPG based on Western tropes (or KR interpretation thereof in this case) that’s homogenously white and/or pale.
Whether that particular effort was implemented well or not is another question altogether, I just find it funny how people here are so horribly offended at token, superficial representation of nonwhite people in a game that’s still overwhelmingly white/pale with worldbuilding using “white” cultures and tropes, despite being a KR game. That’s nothing to say of the SH demon model being cast in a dark mist and people concluding it’s the work of a cabal within AGS who wants to replace whiteness with blackity blackness.
@Pneuma could you please submit this as a bug report, since it is clearly a visual bug same as the eyebrows ^^~ thank you
Honestly the visual problem regarding this model is there. Every raid is overall very dark and this is the result…
Edit: Also been days without ANY input on the matter from the big CMs is pretty ridiculous, with these topics being the most viewed ones almost.
If SH demonform already got butchered like this, would they also censor artist ? Because artist will give waymore “excuse” for them to do so

All I am trying to point is that this is a bug! Since it is not what Smilegate intended for the demonic form. And with multiple posts, pics etc it is clearly a Visual bug that they need to fix.
Having speculation and other accusations wont give us an answer or a result. Push it as a bug folks…;(

oh btw the ‘‘pvp thing’’ is the most stupid i read from AGS btw because the form is totally diferent and extremely easy to see even if you are blind .

The pvp/pve clarity are just blatant lies. 
Nobody ask for this dark overlay. Get rid of it or make something logical like skin color will be reflected when transformed.

that’s what they said about the original demonic form we had before. they told us it’s a bug and then they proceeded to ignore and ban whoever mentions that BuG so… no it’s not a bug they just enjoy blackwashing it and the funny part is it’s not even blackened like a normal character or whatever. it’s literally a Coal Transformation in this case. nobody and no character i’ve ever seen in any game that i couldn’t see the face of it. this company is just being ran by a bunch of clowns i swear.
