i rly dont feeel the same, all i see is people gettin mad when they are with people holding them rushing vykas cause they dont play well. Which is understandable. But i dont see people trash talkin others like “shut up 1460, u just got into vykas hm, u suck”.
I rly think problems in this game are somewhere else
This happens because the game pretty much forces you into doing it on 6 characters every week if you want to have the cool stuff (legendary engravings, high quality). If this game was centered at playing only one character with more modes that are once per roster intead of once per character we would have less people pressured at doing things fast because they have to do it again 5 more times
im not a graphic enjoyer but i would like to play what doesnt looks like 20 years ago.
rather i prefaire nice 2d games than like stardew valley.
but in fact u just want to play a long term game where i can stay 5-10 years …
i agree and i would like to do content everytime i want, i need chaos gate , bosses, ghost ship every 30 min and same for meideia and limon the week end, that shit is pain to catch it in time. And that should be all day and ALL NIGHT, ALL MORNING till 11AM reset. Like ? Why would u stop it the night and the morning ? They want people to adapt their lives with the game, fuck you smilegate, you are not my boss, YOU are supposed to adapt your game with me , idk who the fuck you think you all are

This is my biggest issue in general.
For me mostly Saturday I never can get the first island adventure. If it’s gold island it’s wasted for me.
And the extra slime or medaia mostly I also can’t do on that day.
Would be cool if people can decide when they have time to go.
They really need to create solo version of all this content (like chaos gate).
Time gate on content only to gather enough people to spank the bosses while not exchanging two words is bad design. SG needs to adapt to its audience.

yeah or solo would be also a solution, they can do it but they dont wanna cause they want us to have the mindset > “oh… i rly need to play at this time today to do this and that”, they want you to feel bad, almost GUILTY if you missed the content.
That shit is maybe working in KR , but not here, we just burn out and quit here, so adapt your game or stay with ur national version

FF14 has a good community because they are hardcore about banning for toxicity. Majority of area chat in this game would be banned pretty quick.

No that’s not it. Its just elitism, it’s toxic but not banable.
This game community is toxic because of game design, you can keep banning all area chat toxic players but it wont do much.
LA forces optimization onto players through game design. If you don’t keep playing the game optimally, you fall behind. Now this extends to guilds as well since gvg islands give gold payouts. So playing with players that are behind or who don’t keep up to your level it’s not optimal. The same goes for raids, dungeons and guardians. This issue is made worse by the gold sink consumables are.
Why spend 3h in a raid with players that don’t have perfect setup? You have a direct gold loss in terms of consumables and a passive loss of gold in terms of time that could be invested in alts.

go outside and u will find almost nobody playing or knowing about lost ark
it is hard to find any lost ark players outside of lost ark discord/reddit/forums
I have more fun wiping in a chill or learning group than any sweaty reclear group. This game is going to get gatekept into oblivion. It’s a combination of a game that funnels you into brutally punishing raids and usual f2P mmo toxicity. Not a good combo.
It’s allready there. Argos P3 and Legion raid lobbies are either reclears, busses or juiced runs. If you create a “casual” or “learning” lobby be prepared to sit in front of your PC for hours on end doing nothing but waiting for people to join if it even happens at all.
