The upgrade menu corresponds to a feature only available after Ancient gear is available (hard mode Brel).
So yeah, Artist is gonna release before hard mode Brel.

That’s weird I could swear I couldn’t use bracelets on the npc yesterday, but tonight it works.

Um… upgrade is for ancient gear, so if AGS will properly check their patch before release maybe there won’t be problems.
