Couldn’t find any recent Dev answers regarding this so I’m gonna go ahead and ask in hopes of getting an official response. Will skin chests (like the ark pass one, or animal skin chests) be updated to work with the upcoming Specialist class(es)?
Skins for classes not released never get updated. Unless the class share the main proffesion of existing class,EX: Scouter could use Neon Wing Set because he shares the Male Arthetine Gunner Sprite Model.
For Artist will be more difficult since is an original new Sprite Model. In this case, any Skin release for Artist, can be used on Future Aeromancer. Not the weapon thought.
it will never be updated. They said already there’ll be no exisiting skins that will be updated for artist.
Its the problem WE will have for getting Artist so early. A LOT of the current skins did not have Artist skins since Artist was not out at the time those skins came out (remember we’re getting skins from a year ago in KR prior to Artist coming out). So no there WONT be a many skins for Artist for a LONG while yet.

Why would it be more difficult for Artist/Aero? The skins are available in KR and most likely in the files in NA/EU. They would just have to enable them on the boxes that have them, like the witcher one, the ark pass one or the box with the dino. We know they exist, which is why I’m hoping for an official response about whether or not they will take the time to enable them.
The lost ark discord (artist section) has some info about it, someone pinned a post.
And there are a fair few outfits that should work on her, the majority don’t, especially ones with specific classes on them.
The picture I attach is the particular animal skin that will work on her.
I also personally contacted Amazon through ticket to see if the graduation set will be useable and they said it will be. Hope that helps a bit

A LOT of the current skins that have come out, are from the OLD skin packs prior to artist release and thus never got an “specialist” type skin. There was some in KR that got updated but not all that many. And considering we’ve been getting OLD KR skins save for a few, they wont be artist skin available.
Skin chests that are already in the game will not be updated with Artist/Specialist skins, but moving ahead skin chests that are released in the future will have them

Would be, after all this time to delay the Artist to Westernize/Remove Unwanted Skins.
Pretty sure they said the same about engraving chests untill tons of people stated it actually did update and they went and Che ked with the devs and came back saying they did update.
But no way to know untill the update
Appreciate the response Roxx! Are there any plans to bring back Witcher skins for example in that case? Or are we just outta luck on those?
Unfortunately because the Witcher was part of a specific event period contracted with CDPR, we can’t bring those back currently or without discussion or renegotiation, so for the time being those specific skins are no longer attainable.
Engraving chests and skin chests are very different kinds of items, despite both being “chests” and function differently. Engraving chests will be updated with Artist engravings, skin chests will not.

I get it for skins that will very likely return in the future.
But as KR has the Witcher skins for Artist is there no chance to make an exception and add this into our version so Artist buying the witcher skin from the auctionhouse can wear them on Artists? Thats for sure different than reselling them in the ingame shop as the market place ones are bought from the event during the contracted event period.
At least asking SG wouldn’t hurt?!
I personally dont even like the skin line but i can see big Witcher fans being frustrated over it as it was also caused by your (AGSs) and SGs decision to stagger class releases in our version.
So my saved up dinosaur costumes are worthless.
Make sure to give us a new one with artist release!

just say “we dont want to make the effort” but there is not realy a difference per say, the skins are in the kr version you just can patch it, but then you cant make extra money

but whyyyyy… i understand other skins that show more and they dont want to bother and remake them, but why cant they update animal skin boxes :((((( like what is wrong with animal skins on artist I literally saved all of those for her cause on other chars it looks bad but its so cute on artist and i cant use it aaaaaaaa
