Unfortunately when the updates are just we have no updates but we’re working on it we swear repeated every week it actually has the reverse effect of what you intend by letting players know its being worked on, everyone already knows it is being worked on.
Good communication doesn’t mean repeatedly posting that you have nothing new to add since when you posted 5x before that. It actually starts beginning to upset people that all they get to read is “We have nothing new to tell you.” again and again.
Even worse than that is when something is posted along the lines of “We will be posting updates on the issue later this week” And then later that week the update posted is-
“We have no updates.”
players are getting very upset, we expected it last week, and then maximum this week, only to be told everytime its not ready yet
what is the “issue”? they don’t share
timeframe? 1 month, 2 months? no answer
comms never improved on anything, same story since launch, last min updates
i don’t believe its the CM’s fault though, but the management strategy of not letting the CMs communicate more with the playerbase is what is frustrating, i wish an executive just spend some of their time on the forums just to see what players complaints and needs are, even if once a month, to be in touch
At multiple occasions they had the chance to read threads giving possible temporary fixes for people to be able to use the powerpasses and still work on a long term fix in the mean time. But I guess making players and mainly returning players after releasing a new class wait over 2 weeks (at this rate we can expect a 1 month down time on powerpasses) is just sad.
A game that treats its player like this can never continue successfully. They finish themselves. If they say that Powerpass is no longer in the game, I say we will not seriously care. This ambiguity, such illogical explanations, is really funny. How long will the players be silent? If they really cared, they would do it in 8-10 hours at the most. Do you really think they are working on this?
So is the Hyper Express going to get extended? Apparently I made the mistake of saving my powerpass until the roadmap to see if I should use it on the class I’ve been waiting for since launch and now I can’t use it at all and don’t have a character to use the express event on.
I disagree that “nothing yet” updates are worse than silence. They’re better.
With “nothing yet” we might get frustrated but aren’t left wondering.
With silence, we imagine the worst and think we’re being ignored.
Better than either would be some trinket of information though. Like, “We’re continuing to explore ways to re-implement the powerpasses to reduce possibility for abuse.”
Which they’re doing but at least by specifying something of the problem being solved for, it seems like meetings are actively going.
i have no issues with accepting a response when it exists, there was never an actual response, only reassurances of getting one when we get it…
and what you’re doing is helping anyone? telling them to sit back and stop talking about it is not just unhelpful, its damaging.
its sending a message that this garbage should be tolerated.

Flooding the forums with post after post of the same thing isn’t helping anyone they stated that when they have a fix for it we will be notified end of story! Why is it so hard to understand?
No one said it was my place I just simply stated the information they have given us. You on the other hand can’t seem to grasp the concept of “when it’s fixed we will let you know” You wanted an answer they gave it. Accept it and move on, just because you create a new post day after day isn’t going to help the matter infact it’s slowing them down on fixing it since they have to keep reading the same garbage you post day after day. Let them work on it and you will be notified when it’s fixed!
Finally you accept that they are working on it and when they fix it you will be notified! You asked and they gave an answer just because it’s not the answer you wanted doesn’t mean they did nothing!
you’re making it really hard to stay respectful but nonetheless, this will be my last reply to you specifically,
1: in the 15 days the issue has been known for, nothing of value has been shared with us at any level, be it the issue itself or what is being done to counter it.
2:I never accepted the outcome but im just losing the will to even try at this point.
3:its not even enough at this point to just get the pass re-enabled since people have been getting their benefits for 3 resets so far while we are just waiting for it to be available.

I guess that sums it up for you won’t be responding to me any more. But look at it do you not think they are trying to fix it. As a business every day that the passes are not available is hurting their income. Of course they want it fixed. But because they didn’t give you an exact date you have to come on here daily and complain about it. Relax when they fix it you will be notified! I took your words for what they were it’s not my fault you didn’t manage to put them in the proper structure to make sure your point got across the way you wanted it to!
