I know it’s not currently available in the current game and Smilegate doesn’t have it out of the box but will there be server transfers / cross region transfers in the future?

Depends on how bad it gets. Like you said, the code doesn’t exist for it so this would have to be something new created from scratch. In order to get the greenlight for that sort of work, they would need a fire lit under them.
