It would be nice if there would be highier chance to get the engrave that you don’t have. Or make them untradable but you can get only the engrave that is not saved in your engraving book

the word “랜덤” comes out to “laendeom” when written in romanized characters.
i don’t know many korean words but that sounds like “random” when pronounced so i can only assume it’s the korean way of saying an english word. which would confirm your guess.
i believe though that there is a box that only has class engravings in it, would be worth asking a korean to confirm though.

Saint said it was only general engravings NOT class… he pretty much said Korea prices for gold books weren’t really worth it but still lots of people gambled… there is another tab of random honing materials that WERE worth it…

well it’s RNG some will get lucky and the other won’t. but yeah it’s not worth it as we have enough gambling in this game.

they are written in korean but you see some of them have [ ] in name which means they are class engravings.
this will help to remove some golds in game and lower the ridiculous price of engraving books too
Did a quick market research on my server (Sirius/EUC). Hope I didnt miscount.
There are currently 30 general engravings worth 2900 gold or less and 13 general engravings worth more than 2900 gold. For class engravings there are 10 worth less than 2900 gold and 26 worth more than 2900 gold.
Results:
General Engraves have a chance of 30,23% to go even or make profit.
Class Engraves have a chance of 72,22% to go even or make profit.
Obviously depends on the server markets and the inflation at the point of event release. So depending on the situation it could be worth going for it. But at the end of the day its still gambling. Also engrave prices would probably drop shortly after the event starts.

you’re right there as well about prices going down cause of it. so it won’t be that bad indeed :3
BTW fun fact:
Almost all green engraves are currently worth more than 10 gold, resulting in a profit. The market isnt as heavily inflated with them from events/ingame rewards as the blue and purple engravings, which are mostly worthless atm.

BTW didnt see any info in this thread or maybe accidently skipped it about the books status. Obviously all the math would be pointless, if the books are given out as bound versions. Then it would be true gambling.
I guess it ain’t so bad then, at least there is a jackpot haha
Shit engravings are very likely to be weighted.
