UPDATE it’s just gotten even WORSE the pants and chest piece are now 4900 gold each

There was thread on this on another forum where the witcher skin basically failed to meet the basic criteria considered acceptable by the top coomers of Lost Ark
As Zeals Ambitions once said, Lost Ark was designed specifically to cater to coomers. And any attempt to change that will eventually fail, he predicted exactly this will happen.

I REALLY WISHED THEY PROVIDED US WITH THE KOREAN LEGENDARY OUTFITS INSTEAD OF THIS WITCHER THING THAT NOBODY WANTED.

Just give us the coomer korean legendary skins already I will pay $100 USD a pop for it

They should, he is the authority on Lost Ark the most valuable twitch streamer this game has. He said Amazon devs usually seek his advice on many things regarding Lost Ark.

He said this very thing will happen because this is a game designed with one purpose and that is to satisfy coomers.

Why should we care? Almost every mmo has revealing skins for sale and they get the priority for a lot of people. If you have an IQ above the room temperature, you can see and understand this. We don’t need anyone telling us that “coomer” skins will sell more than actual armor skins.

This happens with a lot of skins at the start, usually get flooded on the AH by people as soon as they can (especially with the 3 day rule they gotta wait longer)

Especially for these skins which are very likely to not come back ever

More people flooding for gold = prices lower because they wanna sell their stuff ASAP

Combine that with people not wanting to pay initial prices and wait for them to drop, yeah

Once the event goes away and the pieces aren’t as flooded anymore is when they’re gonna shoot up

Happens just about every time

the value of the skins come in half a year when most skins have been sold all 3 times or most chests have been opened.

Let’s be real those omen skins that were quite expensive never recovered even to this day they can be had for a penny. Because it was after all the least coomer friendly skin

There is one key difference here though

There will always be some reiteration of bikini skins that get made

There will more likely than not be no more Witcher skins available after this

Making it a one time deal makes it more valuable and rare once all the initial buying dies down

Because right now everyone’s rushing to sell these things to make easy gold

Give it a few months time and we’ll see if they stay at these prices

Especially the Ciri outfit

This is an excellent point perhaps time will tell for sure where this goes I may even pick up this skin if it goes even cheaper and hang onto it in the event that you are right I could just sell it back for a profit.

Maybe the best skin I ever seen in this game is the casual tight jeans with the white high heels, and funny enough it consistently goes for around an equivalent of on average $50 USD or close to 60K gold especially for bard.

To think that skin was just $8, I sure wish I had bought more and kept it. lol

Yeah a lot of skins especially on Global right now because it’s slim pickings are “shoulda woulda coulda”

Some people play the long game and wait until waaaaay later to sell

Also prices are generally lower because of the lack of Yoz Jar, which also is a price driver for those bolts of cloth

Plus the gold exchange is really good right now if you’re buying gold, so trying to match skins to those prices is almost unrealistic as then no one would buy unless a whale with gold, which now we’re in a circle

take a screen shot of the girls hair. It doesn’t matter if the clothes dont sell, you have to buy the box to get the hair. They are smartER than you think. Also - Zeals, LOL

Thanks for reminding, buying few. I don’t personally like the wig, chests and pants are very OK.

I don’t understand the 5 day reference. They just got listed today. And the prices are entirely between buyer and seller.

The skin itself is… not great. It looks like the type of armor you get when you powerpass Vern

I like Witcher, I love CDPR, I love the fact that they did a collab and want to support it, but I’m not wasting my money on that skin. I did get the weapon skin tho because some of them look nice
