The problem aren’t even the pheons anymore, but crystals price inflation.
Let’s assume you can gear your main from free pheons, but what about alts? Right now legendary accessories aren’t worth shit, and you have to pay 15 pheons per. With gold being close to 750g, meaning it’s 75g per pheon. I don’t have that kind of gold to waste around. Nobody except whales does.
Epic gear shouldn’t cost pheons, maybe 1 to 3 instead of 9, legendary shouldn’t cost more than 5 per accessory.
how much is that in gold though? in current pheons prices thats alot of gold for free, and still there are clowns like this oneekatanya complaining and crying endlessly about a game mechanic thats been years on the game.
This games only been out for a few months in the west. We are talking about the EU/NA version for the EU/NA players. Not discussing KR version or KR players who absolutely love mobile games and spend thousands and thousands on their p2w games every day.
Now that we have the blatantly obvious out of the way. If our version wants to survive there is a lot that need improved including this pheon issue.

items price should be on pair with their content not with the last content, blue crystal price will be higher with every patch, so when you going to gear an alt be ready to pay more than they can get, because pheons = blue crystal

100 Pheons cost 850 blue crystals. At my servers current exchange rate this translates to 6426 gold.
So we get about 1600 gold per week depending on crystal prices.
People have a right to complain about some of the aforementioned idiotic things about the pheon system.
It might be in the game but that doesn’t mean it’s not trash. All in all the system exists to generate extra income for the devs / publisher on every item transaction that happens in the game.
KR players detest pheons and always protest against the system and they all have hundreds of thousands of gold, so the tax for them doesn’t even make a dent in the bank.
For us, most players can’t afford accessories because of pheons.

to get 7/7 I needed 240 pheons so I can’t even gear my main with full relic acc. Pheons are just to rip off money from us

It does stop something. It takes time to resell. So people can just wait for a new undercut price. Yet maybe that person goes out spends another 2k in crystals for peons buys new undercut price to resell again up to try and keep control of the market value of said accessory. It would be extremely costly to monetizing of the market game. I for one love playing the market in other mmos in order to make a profit people sell cheap you buy make more expensive make profit… the peons block this kind of player since no way would I divulge that much gold into playing the market while keeping peons. Like seriously blowing through a supply of peons provided from multiple sources is nuts.
