World map sucks for navigating open seas

its pretty silly how a game in 2022 has such horrible interface design for the world map.

instead of having a big map that you can zoom in or out with the click of a mouse/scrolling mousewheel, you have a bunch of connected map pages that you click on individual pieces to view. a lot of areas are cut off between “pages” which ironically doesnt always connect with the next map when you click on one of the arrow keys, this makes navigating through the sea annoying as f.

i haven’t seen such a horrible world map design in a game since the 90s or early 2000s. if it wasn’t because i dont think there’s anything from the cash shop that could make this a better experience i would swear this is intentional design.

if possible please provide the feedback to the devs back in korea so they can do some QoL updates on the interface, thanks!

This has driven me nuts since day 1. Why they segmented the map into a mandatory grid form is beyond me.

The grid system is split up into collectible categories though, so I’d say the ability to toggle between the current grid layout and a conventional layout would be the best solution in my eyes.

Looks like they fixed it in a recent update (sarcasm). They removed the world map grid and now you can’t search the world map at all unless you physically sail to an area, great job developers unless I am missing something?
