this is your typical player who don’t understand cards. You can’t whale on card, blue crystal card people buy with weekly gold income.

Only whaling is monthly card pack which barely gives u any cards (like 2-3 LOS on average which is almost nothing).

Getting LOS 18 guarantee is hard work, these are people who spend 5-6 h weekly doing orehas and vern to yorn card runs. So no its rng but also a big grind over a long time. If you spent 3h a week doing 6 char abyssal dungeon runs since march, then I bet you you would have los 20-22 by now even wtihout spending gold on card packs.

So yea gatekeeping based on how much effort people who put into cards is okay as well

Sure and I got 1 azena since the release of the game after countless card runs week after week. You don’t understand what rng means.

And yes you can whale on cards it’s just a long term process

I don’t rven think at this state people look at cards. Roster, my man, roster.

But of course if you have 30 LOS chances are you will have 200-220 roster level by now. So yup i’m accepting you. Not because of your LOS though

There is no true gatekeeping in this game. If 20 DPS apply to 6 spots, the 14 that didn’t get in were not gatekept.

There are far more DPS than wanted raid spots due to lack of supports. Don’t wanna be “gatekept”? Roll a support.

Everyone is one of this clowns… If you are on your 1450 alt oder 1430 you also just hope to get “carried” so that aggument makes no sens.

You do not auto win with 5x3 in your party.

Have you ever seen a Raid getting full in a sec, we talk about 2 man in a 8 man raid, pretty much 5-6 slots open and yet still getting denied, thats the gatekeep not if you apply to an group and its full in a sec, ofc its not gatekeep then.

I mean sure if we apply at the same time and they choose him over me just because of cards, its not gatekeep.
We rather speak from a empty room with let’s say 4 dps spots left, and yet they gatekeep because roster is low, or no LoS18

That isn’t a real time scale. Any group that has 1-2 supports will fill in a matter of minutes. The only time I have ever seen groups sit there forever is because they have no supports. Savvy party leaders nowadays will hold DPS spots open incase a support has friends.

When a group is waiting for the perfect players for a HM Valtan for up to 30 minutes, then you can make an argument about gatekeeping.

Like I said, when 10 people apply for 2 spots, the 8 that didn’t get in weren’t gatekept.

Yeah i get it and we all know thats not gatekeep if someone is just faster.
Just the whole “gatekeep” is meant in a situation like " literally 6 spots left but still actively denied"

And ye my time scale was out of the top, i know a group with alrdy 2 supp in it will be full in no time

I think part of it is people just take getting denied way too seriously, as if the party lead personally spit into their mouth.

I’ve had my 1500+ SS get denied? Why? Hell if I know.

so my thought process is different.

First 2-3 people I accept need to be overgear/juiced. Why? Because supports won’t join an ilvl party.

Thus, if I can get the first 1-2 juiced, other juicer apply/non-juicer then I can accept a few non-juicer into party. That way you see 3 juicer/3 non-juicer support stil apply. if i start party with 3 non -juicer (1460 dps x3) then no support will ever apply and only other 1460 dps will apply. That is why i only add in weaker player near the enda fter support is done

tbh idc about roster level or engraving 3x3 is fine, I always give people 3 chances they fuck up 3 time, it’s a kick angle even if you’re level 10 or 5x3 or insane roster level

It depends really.

If its typical “alt run” even I might even get called out if I bring you to lobby. Why risk it?
On other occasions ( midnight runs ) you could be in cause theres no other better around.

I mean i only have 1 real alt right now, my main is 1500 and my alt is 1447 with 5x3 and full level 5 gem but only roster 99, would you still go for me or someone else ?

Usually alt runs expect ppl between 120-140+ roster level so you already know the answer.
For other things i.e midnight run or I happen to play on rubbish alt you are welcome.
