WoW has worse monetization than Lost Ark

How is PVE equalized?

The hardest difficulty of raid in LA is equalized

LA is about skill, not gear which WoW players can’t comprehend due to the way gearing works.

You’re a troll obviously but I’m just curious how you think “everyone boosts in WoW” when infact it’s a minority?

Load WoW and watch trade chat for 0.0001 seconds

Took me 2 seconds to google an example

Can say the same for gold sellers in LA chat, that does not mean players actually buy though

When I was still playing boosted players were a very very rare breed and you can tell who they were within 5mins. I don’t know if things changed but I recall they were really few

Sad to say boosting is the norm now, it’s super commonplace.

Again I’m not saying either game is perfect, I’m just defending that WoW is infact also p2w

Damn what a shame, I hope they still get bullied for it though lol

Again what are they winning?

What is anyone winning in anything with that logic? Define p2w if player power, and achievements, clearing content with gold is not

PvE is not equalized in WoW
PvP is not equalized in WoW

Not equalized = P2W

I can boost power in either one if I choose to, it’s 100% more P2W than any other MMO.

Dude tons of people in WoW buys dozens of tokens a month to buy raid and mytbic plus boosts. Or spend a few grand to get a pvp title.

Pretty much this, not only is wow also P2W and has a sub fee and B2P wall, RMT has been a thing since ages, so did boosts for titles, raids, etc.
People just like to ignore it because it’s against ToS yet it still happens all the time, while in LA and other KMMOs that are free the devs offer that themselves.

I wouldn’t say one is worse than the other at this point. They’re both clearly bad. Gaming has gone down hill and as a community we’ve unfortunately learned to put up with this shit.

I don’t think any game will have the right monetization model that satisfies both the consumers and the company anymore(yes including the hyped up AoC).

You’re not winning anything you’re just the loser that buys boost from the winners.

Stellar argument my man

I’m not a troll, and WoW is one of the most botted MMOs.

I know LA has bots but think how long WoW has been around, before LA was around it had bots and boosters. It’s one of the biggest mainstream MMOs, a gold seller/booster’s heaven.

Boosting wasn’t as popular back in the day but once WoW Token + Gold Boosting became legal it was a free for all to find the best boosters and slam your way up to the power ranks every expac for a couple hundred bucks.

LFG is still rampant with sellers and so is trade chat despite them trying to prevent it.

Yes and no.

  • If you’re a hardcore and skilled WoW player and join a higher end guild, there’s not really ever a need to pay for anything besides sub. You will be in Mythic week 1, and will basically be progging on the end bosses by the time top guilds are selling carries. You will get BiS eventually well before the next tier.
  • In LA, whales will have advantages over f2p players in character power that f2p players will never catch up to. Harcore skilled players still may not be able to enter new content immediately (although this has more to do with the western release).
  • In WoW, you can technically whale 0 to max faster/cheaper than LA, although you can’t do it at the start of a new tier only later on.

AoC is my final hope, don’t do me like that :frowning:

I honestly don’t know what people see in that game. I’m more with the riot MMO hopium.
