Posting for a friend since he can’t post with his account banned.
Ban occurred on Saturday, March 12. Account has no refunds, only purchase made was the Founder’s Pack, didn’t hack, mod the game, or do any RMTs. Played about 250 hours and stopped upgrading at 1345.
This is completely different from the 3 Day ban for cheating that others seem to be getting as the notice occurs on Steam stating the following:

Hiding all identification for now. If anyone from AGS can help resolve this issue, please PM or reply in this thread so I can give the contact information for him.

My friend had just received this response from AGS and is really confused about what he did to merit the ban.
As stated again above, no RMTs, no cheats or modding, and no refunds were made/done.
The only things we can think of is:
- That he sold items (Legendary Engraving Books) in the Auction House for like 20k+ Gold a few times.
- He sent me and our other friends several thousand Gold to help us catch up to his Item Level so we can do content together.
- AFKing in towns a few times because he would take a nap after doing an hour or 2 of endless Chaos Dungeons.
As for #2, if he was banned for this, wouldn’t that mean me and the others should also be banned for suspected RMTing?
It just doesn’t make any sense…
So far, he’s responded to the email asking what exactly he did to merit the ban so that we can understand better.

So he just received another email from Support after submitting a ton of tickets again.

They finally at least gave us a reason, Commerce Lock, but again, he never partook in any RMT.
He may have had like 200k Gold suddenly because he got lucky and got Legendary Grudge 2x from Field boss and stuff, but all the Gold in his account was earned by selling items in the Auction House.
He was never mailed any gold or items or anything besides from straight through the Auction House.
Support isn’t even bothering checking his logs or anything.
Even if the Commerce Lock isn’t regarding RMT, it would be for refunds then.
But in that case, he has proof from Steam that he never refunded the Founder’s Pack, which is the ONLY purchase he made.
