You cannot remove tradable Engraving Recipes

I have the bug that has been asked a few times across media platform with no answer.

I HAD a stack of maybe 5 engravings Grudge Engravings at the beginning that had this issue and I didnt know what to do so i held it and i’d figure it out.
Well now I have a stack of 13 Grudge engravings I can’t use. If i unlock a chest and it stacks it into the 1x1 square stack it will flag all existing engravings as this issue as well.
I also have a stack of 5 Shock engravings i cant use for the scrapper

I have tried splitting the stack individually and can’t use them.

One thing Im going to try is moving the stack into my pet or storage and not having it tag the stack and using as intended. Im out 17 engravings because of this bug.

edit:

I just opened a new stack of 6 shock engravings from a new chest after moving the issue stack out of my player inventory and still have the issue with the new stack.

My scrapper is stuck at 10/20 for engravings because of this bug.

I’m having the exact same issue on my gunslinger with Hit Master Engraving.

Same problem.
Probably because I used 21 or 22 green books, idk how it works but i consumed more than 20
And this is the engraving with the 22 green books consumed that I can’t consume blue one.
Can take blue from others engravings

I’m having the same issue too. It says “You cannot remove tradable Engraving Recipes” when I try to use blue engraving when I just used 20 green engravings for cursed doll. Now I have 20 blue cursed doll engravings that have this issue. Not sure exactly what’s wrong but this has to be a bug right?

Solved this bug. Just sen them to your alt by mail or transfer via shared storage and then send them back to your character. Afted doing this I was able to use the recipes

You put them in storage, and had an alt take them? And then just put them back into shared storage, and go back to the previous character?

I’m having the same issue now with my Sorc. I sent the item to my alt and will see if this temp. solution will work!

EDIT: It works! First send a mail to an alt, switch to the alt, pick up the item and put in the shared box, then switch to your main and use the item!

It seems that the game had to re-register you picking up this item to fix the issue

If you haven’t solved the issue yet, it’s because you already have all 20 of the uncommon engravings. You now need 10 more of the blue/rare engraving books to get to the next level and those are the uncommon books.

after i did that, I used it, but they got deleted and did not count at the engravings lol

As the others have said, I tried this workaround, and it just deleted my Blue Awakening Engraving Recipe Books. After successfully “using” the books, it did not affect my imprint progress at all.

Edit: For context, I encountered this bug today when trying to level up my Awakening imprint into the second level.

Edit2: Turns out my Awakening was already maxed at Blue, and I just did not remember doing so. The work around just allowed me to “use” the books to effectively delete them.
